guys i have around 3500$ to spend on the jeep

what should i do?

its a 2009 black jeep with 4000 miles

there's a set of PPP Stage 2 heads with PPP stage 3 camshaft for 1700$

+ there's a AFE CAI + predator for 600$

so give me your opinions on what to do.

You also have to remember install costs. H/C is pretty pricey to install. I would start out with these mods first......Then either Blower or H/C

Me personally my FIRST $3500 i went with:

In order

Thermostat
CAI
Predator
Borla S
Bwoody springs/swaybar links
Better tires

And i would now definitely add the sprint booster

And you will have a COMPLETELY different animal

I personally wouldn't go with a tune unless you're doing heads/cam/header or nitrous or blower

Because that's $600 you will have to spend again the next time you take a major step....save that super tune for once you have mods that warrant it.....and save that $600+

+1, i tried to start a thread months ago about value to price ration and stuff like that but as always on this forum haha, it didnt go over which is fine, it just makes us have to REPEAT ourselves many times lol. Its cool, Id go with the basics you need before anything else which is -

CAI (either Volant/Mopar/BWoody) - $400 (no-brainer)
Thermostat (JET 180) - $40 (no-brainer)
Exhaust (Corsa/Borla/Zoomers (some say) otherwise Magnaflow has decent catback - expect to pay from $1,000 - $1750ish plus install (definite no-brainier if you want to get some great sound from the best and free the breathing up for future modification. It's a long term investment with short term pleasure in the sound and look of the tips ;)

Lastly you need the 91 or 93 CAI tune from Predator ($375 on ebay)
this will set her all up for air/fuel mixtures and timing based on your simple mods and the gas you run. This should stay in your budget and give you good performance boost, good sound boost and tons of potential down the road, my set-up if i were you ;) GL, post some pics once you do the work

but in regards installation here in Kuwait is relatively cheap, for example installing the heads and the camshaft will cost me around 300$

i was thinking of getting the heads and keeping them for future use, as they are very cheap. and is a steal for 1700$. but then again i wouldnt have enough to get headers + tune, cai, lowering kit and the swaylinks :( very tough decisions to make

yes the install is 300$, but as for the heads + cam they are 1700$, without the need for core charge :D

so subtract the manifold, and pick up some SW header at a discount from tbyrne...were there is will there is a way. lol

i was thinking of the following

headers+ ported TB + ported IM + tune (diablo) + pulley + CAI + lower kit

as for the for the TB and IM, they'll be done in Kuwait as they will cost me 300$

and the installation for and pulley and the headers will be 100$, and the lower kit will be installed free of charge at the dealers shop

so what do u think ? :D
