I've asked this several times, but received no response (not a good sign if nobody is happy enough with their service to recommend it!) but thought i would give it one more shot as several people on the boards seemed interested. So, are there any jeep dealerships in the VA/DC/MD area worth going to for service or are we equally in trouble regardless of where we choose? Thanks again for all the help from the board.

I can't remember the name, but there is a dealer in Annapolis (name of dealer is a guy's name) They had great customer service and were selling several dealership modified vehicles..a good sign.

Ok, so to answer my own question, a solid choice for those in Virginia seems to be the dealership in Fairfax. They have 3 srt techs and two viper techs. They manager just spent 20 minutes with me on the phone basically telling me everything about the car that I wish Tysons had told me when I bought the car. He walked through the transmission flash issue, low mpg issue, and even went as fair as encouraging me to attend the SRT8 race day. If their car service is half as good as their customer service, I think this will be the shop for me.

I bought my GC SRT8 at Fair Oaks Jeep in Chantilly. I have taken it there for oil changes (which are included) and minor stuff and so far I have no complaints. I didn’t feel compelled to recommend them because I don’t know them that well.
