Hey guys! My names Russell, I live in Sarasota Florida. I own a 04 nissan 350z. I drove a 06 300c srt8 a month or so ago and I was in love and knew my next car would be an srt8! But now I realize the Jeep srt8 might be a little more practical for my business. I have been to 4 dealerships now all with no Grand Cherokee SRT8! What gives! I went to ferkins in Tampa, one in Brandon, a dealer in bradenton, and a dealer in sarasota. All of the dealers didnt have any and nobody there seemed to know much if anything about them, one guy even told me there was no such thing! So I thought the best place to get some help would be from you guys. This jeep looks pretty sick and if it performs half as good as everyone says! I guess there will be another jeep srt8 owner! :D If you guys know where I can find one so i can see one and test drive it id really appreciate the help! Thanks!

Russell

russell.....pm me....I live just up in the Brandon/Valrico area, not far from you. Probably have to run down to Sarasota sometime tomorrow or Friday to pick up some permits. If we can set something up convenient to both us us you can check mine out and drive it. You'll love it.

And, if you like it, Champion will hook you up with a great deal, even with shipping. He has been most helpful to many here.

Russell,

If you don't mind driving a few hours Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge has two 2007 Grand Cherokee SRT8s in stock (bright silver).

Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge
8675 Commodity Circle
Orlando, FL. 32819

Tel. 888-893-1811

Look them up on the internet. I can't post the URL because you need to have four posts to be allowed to do this.

I got my Viper at this dealership. Their sales team leaves a lot to be desired (as do most dealerships) - but they have Viper techs that work on all SRT vehicles.

I am looking into these GC SRT8s also because I need something a little more practical than the Viper. The Viper is a total blast but the two seater thing is getting a little old.

Hey guys! so i ended up getting together with Ted tonight! what a great guy!! Ted took a great amount of time showing me his srt8 and had an answer for every question i had for him! He took me and my Girlfriend out for a pretty long drive and it gave me a really good feel for the jeep. His jeep was top notch and he for sure takes car of his cars! thing was mint! anyways that jeep was like a bat out of hell! and I cant thank Ted enough for giving me the opportunity to see one and to hand over the keys to me! Like i say what a cool guy! In all honesty I think the chrysler 300c srt8 might be more of my style, thats not to say that the jeep wasnt badass! It was fast comfortable and had all wheel drive, but the major concerns i have with the jeep are the really poor gas mileage i mean the 300c srt8 gets bad enough mpg. I honestly dont need and suv I was only going to get one if it totally out performed the 300c. The performance difference was slim to none in my opinion. But it was a great night and i met a hell of a guy! oh and by the way! if Anyone ever wants to stay at a very sweet log cabin give ted a holler! He has a VERY nice place in Georgia! ask him about it serious it looked sweet. But yea again thanks Ted for helping me out so much like that i really appreciate it! and thanks for everyones help here on the forums!

Yeah, like that old fa*t used to say on TV years ago..."Come On Down".
We'll hook you up with some kind of ride.......2 or 4 wheels.:D

Nice to meet you both also Russell, and good luck with your decision.

And, if anyone is interested in the cabin, I'll cut any forum member a great deal on their stay. Lots to do in area, some great driving roads, and only about 2 hrs to Deals Gap. check it out.

hey Ted
I have to do a business trip in Florida. Any chance you could pick me up at the airport and take me to all the clients. If you could wait in the car during the visits. Oh and I also have this hat and unform - if you could wear it!:D

Seriously though that was a nice effort to increase the SRT population:)

Hey as long as you're flying into either Tampa or Orlando......I ain't too proud........uniform no problem(as long as it's a snap on bowtie cause I can't tie a real one, and you got shorts and not long pants)........It all depends on how big a bone you want to throw me. Be glad to chauffeur you around and wait. I'm retired, got lots of books and car mags to read.

Just let me know.:D :D
