blnsfn2 02-28-2007, 04:22 PM I just got my SRT8 last night. AWESOME! Mine doesn't have the SRT8 aluminum door sill plates like I saw on another one. What's up? How come some have it and others don't. Does anyone know where I can get them? Can they be ordered from parts? I apologize if this is a duplicate on another portion of the site. Rick G 02-28-2007, 05:03 PM They were discontinued sometime during 07 production from what I've read here. I have them on mine and it is an Oct 06 build date. I believe you can order them through the dealer. Strange. waydennis 02-28-2007, 06:29 PM I think they ran out making my Jeep. I had one on the passenger's side and was missing the one on the driver's side. It took me 6 months to notice since I never went in that door. I took it by a dealership and they ordered a new set under warranty. DRE77 02-28-2007, 07:35 PM My 07 doesn't have them either. I went to my dealer two weeks ago to find out why and still no news. The part number can be found on this forum if you look up sill plates. Some people have recieved them for free and others had to pay. I guess it depends on how good yoru relationship is with your dealer. Goodluck! Part number in my signature. When I got mine I was under the impression they were not making them anymore and when I found a set I was happy to pay for them just to make sure I got them. A dealer in CA had a set in stock so I paid. At that time the Part Number was some sort of DCX mystery. Now that we have it, people seem to be having no problem having their local dealers order them.
