: New Color for '08 Black Crystal Pearl sbkim 02-28-2007, 01:15 PM I hear that black clear coat is being replaced by metallic crystal clearcoat in 2008. Didn't I teach u a few lessons about how u can't replace displacement with my viper? If I recall, it was about 30 car lengths. Should I expect to receive the tacky sparkle black? sure hope not. I doubt that they would change it before the 2008 model runs. After seeing the new color on other vehicles, there is NO way I am ordering this color. And I absolutely love the black on SRT8 but I will have to resort to silver :( Ink Pump 03-01-2007, 12:56 PM You should have gone for RED Rock - The old black is beautiful (Only when clean) which means you have to clean it every day. The new black is hazy:( You cannot have a black car in Erie,PA unless you hitch a car wash to the back. So I picked RED Rock - It looks great and only has to be cleaned every other day:D | ||
