I watch the stock closely everyday and have to admit that yesterday was a heart breaker. I just hope things come back to where they were. This morning the stocks have already been all over the place.

This overheated market was long overdue for a correction. Corrections like this are great buying opportunities.

If you're dollar cost averaging, making regular purchases and have time before your retirement, these events are fine and shouldn't worry you at all.

The interesting thing about this fall is really we followed China. It should be no surprise that events in Shanghai would reverberate in Wall since. Since their economy is rapidly overtaking the rest of the world and will soon be 5 or 6 in the World. Also we purchase more goods from them than ever and we borrow more money from them than anyone else. In 10 years every blip in China will effect the USA instead of the other way around.

Not at all. Even China doesn't have that much to worry about. Before yesterday were 20% ahead, even though they dropped 9%, they still are 11% positive for the year. This so-called crash yesterday was inevitable and has been seen coming for quite some time. Because of th amount of money we borrow from them it effected us because they started to tighten the reigns on their credit, which in turn can effect us, and people start to panic. Although, our economy and country shouldn't be in the position we are, we still are ok. However, we may fall into a recession once again regardless of our economy growing right now, but its growth is slowing down. We are experiencing an inverted yield curve which usually results in a recession, if the inverted yield curve is in existence for an extended period of time.

Can we get pictures of your 24" rims on the Jeep? Seems like they would dominate a vehicle of this size.

Thanks for the consideration! :)

Gotta love this forum. Where else can you get stock investment advice while considering mods for your Jeep SRT8?

What goes in China does put American businesses on the edge. The dooms day clock is now 5 minutes to midnight no thanks to China threatening a nuclear strike if we interfere with their interests in Taiwan which is old news but it was reported 2 days ago that they are going all out in building up their nuclear submarine force that could strike anywhere within 5,000 miles. http://www.thebulletin.org.

It's amazing how much business goes on between the U.S. and China even with this type of extreme government they run over there. It is really sad.

Looks like it freaked the gas companies. Now they can "freak" us some more.
