I parked my car valet this weekend and when I got my car and got home in the morning, i noticed that the front bumper was damaged. I called the valet company and they said that they are not responsible for any loss/damage as it stated on the contract (ticket stub). :boohoo: anyways, i will be needing a new front bumper. Is this a dealer only part?

So they aren't responsible for a bad driver?? I'd go and find the guy that took your car :p

eBay has them.. Around $500 unpainted/shipped and theres one $899 painted.. Dealer price is around $1100 if i'm correct.

I read this and laughed - because at the track this weekend, in my excitement, I backed into a concrete pillar at the ras gace shack. Put a pretty bad ding in the right front fender and scraped up the bumper. I imagine just buying replacement parts is a hell of a lot cheaper than having a body shop fix it - but whatever it costs, I deserve it for being a moron.

I've been looking for over a year now and the cheapest I've seen are on ebay. They are bout $600 unpainted. They usually want about $100 plus for shipping. Then you have to paint and install it so almost comes out to what the dealer wants.

Theres a black one painted on ebay for 500 or 600 shipped right now.

Check with a local paint and body shop. They can usually locate a refurbished one for around 250.00 unpainted.
