what kind of job makes a man so happy?

The kind that enables a man to absolutely afford a Jeep GCSRT!!!hehehe!!

No seriously, heres why

1. the pay exceeds what I wanted
2. It is right along the lines of what I have been doing.
3. Better company....much more stable than the one that laid me off.
4. I actually wanted a certain amount if I was working in the city(40-50 miles away) they not only gave me that amount plus more, but the job is 17 miles away.
5. I have been trying to get into this company for like 8 years.
6.No back breaking work
7. no traveling.....I used to travel like 215 days out of the year
8. No dangerous work.
9.They dont have a problem with me being in the National guard.
10. Did I mention that I will be able to get my Jeep?
11. No weekend work.
12. I dont have to do any overtime to get the amount.
13. Layed back atmosphere....
14.BIG COMPANY
15. My take home pay will be more than my previous gross pay.
16 Perfect hours 6-2:30 or 7-3:30

I have more but I think you get the point.

Most importantly....I will be able to afford the Jeep!!!

Congrats. Hope you have a GCSRT8 fund as well as a gas fund in the making. Mine is my daily driver with a commute of 42 miles a day. I fill up probably every 4-5 days minimum.

congratulations on the new position, and the new Company!

By your statement that your new Company does not have a problem with your Guard duty, it would seem your old one did. I do hope your old Company suffers a long and painful decline going out of business if they have problems with those in the service of our Country.

Thank you for your service, and be safe.

My old company, Lucent Technologies, had absolutely no problem at all.

The one I worked at after the layoff is the one that needs to suffer. I almost died at the hands of a guy that the boss would not fire. Not even after they already knew that he smoked CRACK COCAINE.....yeah thats what I said!!!

I was climbing towers with a crackhead.

I quit when he almost dropped my safety line that I was hanging from. I dropped from 160 feet to about 140 feet in a split second. When I got down I looked in his eyes and sure enough. He was High on the job. I was his supervisor and told the boss. The boss did nothing. Didnt even talk to the guy about it....

That was it for me......Not to mention working a crapload of unpaid hours and on weekends. But when I needed to take a day off they wanted to charge me a day. No freaking Way!!!!

You should have went straight to OSHA with that info. You know what they say about the squeaky wheel!!!

Anyways, sounds like it turned out for the best, so CONGRATS!!!

Someone forgot the part about whooping the guys arse when you got to the ground.

Yeah That was why I looked directly into his eyes. I was going through the scenario in my head already. I thought about it long and hard. I had anger issues in highschool. I was forced to toke anger management a couple times. I am now almost thirty years old and I have too much at stake to go off and participate in some good old fashion fist sports. Dont get me wrong. I love to tussle for sport. Sometimes not for sport. But I am too old for that now. I have a family to think about. Besides, when I was younger I used to do alot of UFC type activities....because of all the crazy stuff I have done, My body is less forgiving.

I still do my thing but I have to allow for healing now.

One day I will complete one last backflip......Maybe not!!!!

Hehehe!!

The guy was not worth me going to jail over it......As mad as I was at the time, he might not have been able to breathe after I was done. And I would have been off to jail.

I think you need to move to have a longer commute after you buy the SRT8. I only have a 4 mi commute which is over way too quickly.
I need to move to have more time in my truck...
