:ugh: I am sick about it and I will miss it but it was time for me to move on. I am back to a run of the mill ride no more driving excitement for me for a while. When this dismal economy turns I will get another toy but for now the blue beast is gone. I am now sporting a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew cab truck. If anyone wants what has to be one of the cleanest most meticulously maintained and cared for GCSRT8's here is the link for the dealer. If it wasn't such a spur of the moment decision I would have swapped out my red calipers with someone and pulled off the BWoody but my loss is someone’s gain.

Sorry to see a fellow Floridian sell the jeep. Those Silverado's are nice trucks though, good luck.

They were extremely generous on my trade in and they are dealing big time on their trucks. Not to mention everything else will also be cheaper tires, brakes, gas (low octane and better MPG) insurance and it comes with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. The truck is honestly much more conducive to me and my family’s needs and lifestyle. I will get another toy soon enough but it will be just that a toy and not my daily driver. If anyone is ever considering a new Chevy I cannot even to begin to properly put into perspective how great this dealership and the sales guy I worked with are. I was referred to them by my friend who recently purchased his new Z06 from them. I worked the entire deal over the phone including them giving me a quote for my trade in without ever seeing it:eek:. I thought for sure when I went in they would try to change things but they stayed true to their word and stood proudly by the deal we worked over the phone. I later found out my friend who purchased the Z06 did the exact same thing. It is a great dealership!

I like the Chevy trucks, they do get the best mileage out of all the full size trucks.

But it is no Jeep.

Now you will need to change your handle to ChevyDude:D

I am still a die hard GCSRT8 fan! If I was ever going to get another performance SUV it would be a no brainer I would be right back in one. I think my next toy though will either be a Viper or a Z06. ;)

Hate to see ya go man, but hopefully you'll still stop in every so often.

Have always heard good things about Bartow, and like your truck choice. Damn would have loved to get your red Brembos.........May have to take about four cinder blocks out to Bartow for a little five fingered discount Midnight swap of calipers..............:)only kidding.

Definitely agree on the Z06. Have driven a few Vipers, and two Z06s, and I've just never been able to "bond" with the Viper. Too much of an occasional driver only for me, and the Z06 is a better fit. To each his own though.

Regardless, enjoy the new truck, and stay safe. :D

lol carmax. Its got all of my full suspension mods. The only thing they did was revert the cai to stock. It would have cost me more $$ in time to swap the suspension parts to stock than was worth it

I hear you on a sports car that is not a daily driver. I do like the Z06 and the Viper. I have never driven a Viper, but would probably choose it over the Z06 since their are not many in my area and I have always wanted one since the original model came out in the 90's. You can't beat raw horsepower for a toy car.

Trust me it is cheaper all the way around. Besides the move was not for me to save money, the only move I took to save money was not keeping the Jeep and the new truck. In better times I would have kept the Jeep as my toy and still purchased the new truck.

What's the biggest reason you guys are trading? I have the fiancee talked into picking up a beast as soon as we get her Trailblazer payed off. (less than a year from now) Is is cost of ownership? just personal life? problems with the jeep? Just curious.
