Just got my truck about 2 months ago. i Need to add some power steering fluid and coolant. read the manual tells me to use a Mopar product. Do i have to use what they say in the book? or is there one i can get at a pep boys or RS strauss that is just as good. Jeep service center is not that close, will go and buy it there if have to, but if something is just as good and safe for the truck to save me the trip please let me know.

I'm not sure that is correct. It used to be that ATF was used, but D/C changed to a different hydraulic fluid around the time of our SRT8's. I've confirmed it with the parts department at my local Jeep dealership, and the replacement fluid is "clear" colored, and not the usual pink-red colored ATF.
