Well the Columbus M&G Event is history. Many of you are on the road now and on your way back home.

First and foremost I would like to start off by saying thank you to all of the LX and SRT forums admins for allowing me use their forums to promote the event and disseminate all of the details to everyone that attended. Without you all this event would not have been possible.

Next, I would like to thank my right and left hand men, DanaM (Dana) and MidLifeCrisis (David). As I said at the M&G today these guys put up with my many many e-mails, PM's, phone calls, and really worked behind the scenes to keep the event on track. I truly could not have done this without their help.

I would like to thank all of the supporting vendors that donated items for the raffles: Advanced Automotive Concepts (foglight kits), Carbon By Design (discount coupon), Enpiem Custom Half Covers (5.7L covers), and Billet Technology (gift certificate). I would especially like to thank Justin (Grip Tuning) for bringing out the hot rides, Jeremy and Tim (Power Ported Performance and Ceative Induction Systems) for also bringing out the rides and providing some very cool giveaways. I am very jealous of the winners.

Finally, I would like to thank all of you that attended from near and very far. I could not think of a better way to spend my Saturday afternoon than hanging out with 100 of my friends and their rides. It was not a M&G without all of you. It was great to finally be able to put screennames with faces.

I can honestly say this has been 5-6 months well spent and look forward to doing it again next spring. (Maybe the weather will not be so finicky) Hope to see all of you there and those of you that did not make it this time hope to see you too. If you were not there you missed a great time!!!

I apologize in advance if I missed anybody, it was not intentional just the after affects of only 4hrs of sleep. How could I sleep last night when there was an event like this the next day?

See ya'll on the forums and see some of you all again for the Mopar Nationals, August 10-12 being held here in Columbus, Ohio. Thank you all again!!!

p.s. Where are the pictures and the video? Time to start a thread.

I was there from 1:00 to 2:45 wanting to see a GCSRT8. One finally pulled in but the guy vanished before I could down my Miller Lite. Stuck around near it until I had to leave. Bummer.

If that guy is here - what exhaust do you have?

Thanks,
Daren

I did not even know a GCSRT8 showed up until I saw someone took a picture of it. Must not have stayed very long because I recognize where the pic was taken and I don't remember seeing it. Next time, visit for a little while. I am certain some of the LX owners would have liked to chatted with you.

Trying to get some more GCSRT8 owners to make the trip out here. Would really like to see if there are any interested in running at the track. Would be cool to see it run.

I am calling out the GCSRT8's. I don't think they can hang with the other SRT8's.

Come out and prove me wrong.

I would have but it seemed like the event was dying down (had prior obligations so I couldn't get there until later on) and it started to rain.

Tried to get into it red SRT Maggie a few weeks/mos. back, both on the street and highway, but he wouldn't have any of it. I'd love to see how I fare against LX SRT8s, or should I say, I wonder how long it will take them to catch up. ;)

That's more like it! ;) I knew there had to be somebody out there that bought the GCSRT8 and using all that power for more than picking up groceries. Anybody else out there willing to step up to the challenge?

New Albany is 20 minutes east of QS&L and about 30 minutes from the track. Git-r-done.
