Now I am not complaining because I was not the only one to go through a set of front pads on this course but I thought you guys might like to see what a brand new set of pads looks like after 65 miles on Road America. 1/2 tank of gas every 30 minutes. Here is the course.

Here are the right front pads. Also, no dusting. Must have been driving too fast and it couldn't stick to the wheel.

So what would be a better pad? Do you need to get into racing pads now? Does anyone know if we can get ceramic rotors for the Jeep. I know I know it would be like 10 g's but I would like to know!

I don't know but I need to start paying more attention to these things as I do more track days. New front rotors and pads aren't cheap. If I ever do Road America again, I need to bring a second set of pads and change them after the second or third session. That was only doing 3 of the 5 sessions we were allowed to go out on and driving home was when the one pad finally gave out.
