I was detailing the inside of the GC tonight. When I put my hand on the carpet to undo the drivers mat from its latch, I realized the carpet was wet. Only on the drivers side and only on each of the left bolts that hold the drivers seat down. It rained the last couple of days, but all I did was drive the freeways here? I'm pretty frickin annoyed to say the least! I also plan on having them fix the other problem that's been buggin me (rattling doors/speakers). I will also mention the 1-2 shift hesitation and see what they say. I wish the new flash was out so I could just get everything addressed while I was there.

NUMBER: 23-007-07
GROUP: Body
DATE: February 16, 2007
SUBJECT:
Water leak At "C" Pillar Accumulates Water In Drivers Foot Well
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves sealing a body seam at the “C” Pillar floor seam area.
MODELS:
2007 (WK) Grand Cherokee
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
A sealer skip at the “C” Pillar floor seam could lead to a water leak which will travel along
the rocker panel and accumulate in the driver side foot well.
DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer indicates that condition is present and no obvious water leaks are found
during testing, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
Qty. Part No. Description
AR NPN Body Seam Sealer
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Open driver side rear door and remove the scuff plate located in the lower center area
of the door opening.
2. Pull the primary seal off from the bottom and half way up the C pillar to expose the
opening between the trim panel and the inner sheet metal.
3. Carefully pull on the trim panel and loosen it from the lower attachment clip and bottom
locator. Pull inboard to expose the lower floor seam area.
4. Locate the exposed flange with missed paint sealer at the rear wheel house inner to
rear floor joint(Fig. 1). First make sure the area is clean and completely dry and then
thoroughly cover the exposed area with Seam Sealer. Push the sealer into the flange
area. Allow sealer to dry.

You rock Razorecko! I was fearing that it would take them days to figure this crap out. Now it will still probably take them days, but at least I know what it is.

Yeah, if I don't get dragged to this absolutely stupid Oscar party a few friends are having. What time is everyone meeting there?
Also - what's the build date of your jeep? there's a certain vin list attached to this TSB that only the dealer network has. I don't have it but want to see if mine's affected too.

I had a similar problem with a leak except my leak came though into the trunk panel where the amp is located on the driver side. Its happened 4 times now, they haven't found the source of the leak and im gonna try to have them buy it back for a new one.
