Are there any options for forged internals yet? Once I get my Jeep SRT8 I am going to throw a head/cam package on right away. I intend to eventually do a big turbo when they become available with tuning, so I wanted to go ahead and forge the internals while the engine is open.

I have searched several forums and several search engines at this point but have not come up with much information regarding forged internals for our 6.1L platform. What have you all found?

You can always have custom pistons (CP, Diamond) and 4340 forged H beam or 4340 billet I beam rods from Manley, etc. made as well.

4340 forged Hs and either of the above piston manufacturers 2618 Al slugs will work well. Billet rods would be overkill for that HP level unless you're spinning to 7500rpm+.

problem is, you'll want lower compression pistons 8-8.5:1 for best turbo results but that wont be benificial at all until you get one.
