i am wondering if it is possible to take a stock srt jeep exhaust and fit it on an lx platform srt. i know it will take some modifications to the piping. but how about the midpipe connection and the rest of the system. i am wondering because i like the sounds of the stock jeep catback. i was wondering if it has more or less restriction, size, hp gain or loss, and if it will sound the same on a lx srt. any input would be helpful. has anybody done this or thought about it but me??

Just spend the cash on some 2.75" or 3" piping and have somebody custom fit an exhaust......maybe buy somebody's stock jeep muffler off of here. Would probably work better than trying to use the jeep exhaust on the 300.

Any exhaust shop should be able to do it for a couple benjamins.

Not worth it.....NO gain in performance....would be very difficult to custom fit.....

you want to do all this just to replicate the stock sound of the jeep? i mean anything is possible... why dont you just look for a stock muffler off a jeep srt8 and swap yours out for it... ? im not even sure if theres any room for you to have the reso's installed.... but to do the entire cat-back is pointless

I dont have any expertise but i have been under the jeep a lot and i would find it hard to believe that the 300 has as much room underneath as the jeep does. Therefore the I dont think the jeep exhaust would fit under a 300 because the jeep exhaust is so big.

wheww, go aftermarket bro FTW lol, i mean the stock Jeep sound is nice, but for the price it'd cost you to get it done, you might as well get a phat aftermarket set-ups that louder and provides a nice gain in performance, just my thinking tho, maybe not all want this ?????
