First off, no door sills on my 09 and it's not listed on the sticker >> Bummer! Now I have to get some plus the kids keep stepping on the rocker molding so I can see it being a problem moving forward.

- Bright Pedals are listed and installed.
- I don't recall any NAV DVD in my kit, have to check that.
- Headphones & DVD remote were in a small brown box in the backseat (batteries included).
- Ensure your Sirius Radio (& TV) is activated if you have MyGIG [mine was and my dealer installed a custom image for the touchscreen display that I deleted later].
- Manuals, warranty info, etc with Green canvas 'knapsack'.
- 2 key fobs.

My dealer didn't install the front license plate bracket & plate which is nice...just waiting to get pulled over before I install it :)

There is no NAV DVD. 08-09s have MyGig, which has the Navi info on the Hard Drive.

I'm not looking to drill that front bumper but I might have to. I bet the dealer didn't install it to save themselves from having to replace it if something went wrong.

BTW, I checked the HDD today, there's 16.2 GB available (30GB HDD on MyGIG with Nav). That's more space than an iPhone (today).

I'm not even using my HDD.

Hmmmmmm if that is the case, how do we update the NAV info?

You can buy an upgraded NAV disc and I believe you just loaded up and it installed all the new information to your hard drive.. just as you would you computer. then you take the disc out once you are done.

Chrysler Group - North America Map for MyGIG. Version 2009

* Release Date February 2009
* Disc # 2009
* Catalog # U0035-0070-901

Here is the FAQ (http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-NavteqNorthAmerica-Site/en_US/-/USD/View-Static?Page=FAQ).

I wish this system had the same web tools like TeleNav does. I like the ability to create/manage an 'addressbook' for my handheld GPS.

That would be a software/firmware update and not consist of any map updates. The map update disc runs around $200 and requires your VIN number to install.

Yeah, NAVTEQ sucks and charges us for updates. The other stuff we can get on the web for free and make our own CD/DVDs.

actually the update disc i purchased has maps as well as software updates. '08 and newer mygig rer nav systems have maps on the hard drive, there are no seperate navteq discs like the 06-07 model nav systems.

the other update that is available is called grace notes. grace notes just identify music from cds or mp3's, not really a major update imo.

there's a website that has all the updates for all the nav's made by chrysler, so i actually wasted $12 buying the disc from the dealer. everytime i've posted the site, its been deleted by the mods here on this forum.

Map updates for the MyGIG are not available for download anywhere on the net. The disc you got from your dealer for $12 would not have included map updates.

Not fighting with you, just trying to figure out exactly which disc(s) that you received. Was everything on one disc (DVD) and was there a Mopar part number on the disc?

New Navigation DB (2Q2008) and Gracenote DB (4Q2008).
I've seen the list before... the last listing is an error in the "changelog" listing as those two items are on separate discs.

There are 3 separate update discs:

1. The 1.220 update CD ($11.35)
2. The Gracenote DVD ($35.90)
3. The Map update DVD ($210.00).
(the Map disc requires the vehicle VIN number that it is being installed into)
