I bought this stuff because it had Meguiar's name on it and it was cheaper at BJs. I used it yesterday, not really expecting anything more than any other Wheel Cleaner, Spray it on Scrub it off. I sparyed this stuff on and rinsed it off and couldn't beleive my eyes, the wheels were clean and I mean really clean. I followed the directions, so maybe that helped some. The product is Meguiar's Hot Rims ALL WHEEL Cleaner. I noted SRT8 owners because of all the Brake Dust we get.

SRTYA 05-18-2009, 09:37 AM Hmmm intriguing, however I am always skeptical about using spray on wheel cleaners. From my experience they seem to have some kind of a corrosive in them and if not used properly or even if used properly after enough uses they will eat away the finish on the wheels.
F-22 RAPTOR 05-18-2009, 09:45 AM Rims need to be cool before you clean them, and never spray cold water on a hot rim it can and will cause damage to the rim.
BOYCHIKS 05-18-2009, 09:49 AM I have used that stuff and it works great! You should've done some before and after pics :p

I also used it for the first time this weekend and also bought it at BJ's. I followed directions and sprayed each wheel twice at least. They certainly got cleaner, but I had to wipe them with the rag, since there was still film left. Granted, my wheels where pretty dirty from all rain we got recently, but still it's not like car wasn't washed since last year, maybe for couple of weeks at most. I remember saying to myself that it'd be much fuster if I just washed wheels myself, ruther than using this product...:)
IMO, the product is not great on shiny/chrome wheels, perhaps better on black. I still have to try it on Exige.
rwboring 05-18-2009, 10:19 AM ive been using the "all wheel cleaner" all year... mostly on my front rims since the back usually wipes off... but yeah i was amazed... ive went through 2 bottles... and just picked up 2 more last week
BlackJeepSRT 05-18-2009, 10:41 AM I've had some good luck with Windex. Spray and hose off. :D
Eagle One makes a great wheel cleaner also....followed up by Maguiar's tire shine and Maguiar's aluminum/metal wheel polish (especially on the '09 durabrite wheels)...your wheels will be blindingly shiny! ;)
CentralTexHemi 05-19-2009, 11:03 AM This stuff blew away the P21S Gel that I was using

hoseclamp 05-19-2009, 09:30 PM I've been using the Mother's stuff, spray on wax and detailer, pretty nice and simple IMO.
SoonToBeSRT 05-20-2009, 12:07 AM it all works lol, thats why they are all in business, just depends on how much effort you put in, key word here being effort lol, personally you can wet a paper-towel and clean the dang rims, wont eat finish or anything, just wont have nice shine, get some nice wax or gel for the shine, ton of companies make great stuff for aluminum wheels ;) just my .02, mothers/meguairs top names, always works ;)
Muellge 05-20-2009, 05:30 AM Hot wheels cleaner good stuff. Local Big Lots store has it for like $3.50 bottle. Stocked up on it this weekend. Good, shiny results.

Might be oxidation or corrosion. Hard to tell without a pic.
TonySRT8 05-20-2009, 05:38 PM I just used Hot wheels cleaner for the first time. Wheels looks great, although I don't think the bottle will last long. I'm going to have to pick up a couple next time I'm at the store.
