Is this normal behavior!? I don't recall this happening until recently -- now 14,700 miles on the car.

When parked I can see and hear water trickling and dripping directly over and onto the cat. Then the water sizzles away...

Took it to the dealer (it's been with the shop for 3 weeks -- for other things that I don't even want to talk about right now...) and the talked to the tech this morning. He says it's normal for the A/C run-off to be also drip over the cat...

why worry about something so insignificant?

I guess I just want to know if this is normal. You don't think it's odd that water drips right onto the cat instead of out the normal run-off valve?

I think I would have noticed this before 14,700 miles have passed. So it also bothers me that this only started happening now.

I'm with you, it does seem odd, some drain tube plugged or something?
