Has anyone done the 2WD mod from GSM? It is supposed to, at a touch of a switch, make the GC go from AWD to 2WD.....

have not heard of that one yet, I got the esp, and fan mod kit from them that i will be installing this weekend.

Yeah thats what it does. Or you can just pull out the fuse marked ediff. Same thing.

It has been reported that kit causes the fan motor to burn out... Caveat Emptor.

If you pull out the ediff fuse, does the check engine light come on?

no, the check light does not.
but if you want to pull the fues out you must switch the engin off for safety then when you put it back you must reavairs it first before going in to (D) , my friend's GC braked its shift:mad: just because he forgot to reavairs the car.

No need to "reverse" the car. pull the fuse and light em up. Keep the $100 in your pocket towards replacement tires.

so you just pull that one fuse and you have 2wd? that seems off to me somehow.

Give it a shot. The little fuse, on the fuse box it says ediff. Pull and play!!
