So today was the first time I've had my SRT8 out on the freeway/I-95 (except when i brought it home from the dealer at midnight) and the amount of double takes and people who were trying to run me down to get another look was really making me laugh. I wasn't even hauling a#$ or anything just in cruise control at 75. the corsa was soundin mean but other than that my truck is stock. i cant even imagine what it would be like with a bunch of mods or some real dark tint. these trucks drive ppl crazy. How do you get used to it? i guess its just something we have to deal with, eh? Merging into traffic has become my new favorite pastime though!

I don't know what's wrong w/ people where I'm from. No one seems to notice, or care for that matter. Went down to Pigeon Forge last year for the Rod Run...People went absolutely nuts over it. I was the only one down there, so that helped. Amazing how many car crazy people had so amny questions about it. Other than the occassional glance, I don't seem to get a whole lot of attention. But hey...I didn't get this thing for anyone else, but myself.

My wife does not understand when men start to drool over my truck. The best was when about six teenagers asked if they could take their picture around it while we were waiting for a friend in a parking lot. We rolled up the windows and tilted the seats back to get out of the picture...

Imagine driving a silver Srt8.....all tinted out....no hood....a loud ass blower whine.....hissing blow off valve......deep Borla tone.....and you have a heavy foot

Everyday somebody comes up and ask me about my engine and blower.....i need my hood already!

Yea i'm pretty used to it by now

I love it!!! Tonight Harrison and I had a group of guys/gals asking us about our jeeps. "What is that?" Even the guy who owns a charger SRT-8 didn't know what the jeep was.....they made an srt for the jeep? LOL Yes they did and we both kicked your ass all night!!! :D

Paulie, I can only imagine the looks and followers you get with the hood off and the vortech whistling.

Yeah you're home..... not post our video dammit!!

It was a fun night tonight for sure. Of course we were the only Jeeps and we ran each other the whole time, but people were trippin'. The track is defintely the place to get a little attention.

Well, it didn't rain amazingly, but it may as well have for ET sake. Still had a blast even though we were .2 off our normal times. Funny thing is people were shocked we were kinda bummed about our times when we told them.

Occasionally someone will notice it but most don't. I can go all day and not have one person look at it or ask about it.....and I LOVE IT!

It is a really strange occurance for anyone to ever notice my Jeep. I don't think people here in Kentucky have the slightest clue as to what SRT is or what that means for our rides. It is the ULTIMATE sleeper. Occasionally I will tromp the throttle at redlights to show people that they should have been paying more attention to it! LOL. But nobody seems to care around here anyway. It would be great to be driving down the road and see someone that actually knows what it is and gives it proper respect. I am pleased no matter what, but it would be great if others noticed. But again, I bought it for my enjoyment....not theirs.

Mostly people comment when I pull up to the pumps for refueling. They usually ask, "what you got in that thing"? After 3 years and 96K miles I've gotten used to it though. :)

I must admit I like the looks of admiration and the waves from fellow owners (have only seen two in my area - a silver one and a blue one).

I live in MA, the land of "Bentley's, Jag's, BMW's and Mercedes in and around Boston, otherwise everyone drives a ****box". So there aren't a ton of 'car' people around me - they're busy saving a few cents putting around in their ghey hybrids or accords.
