You can remove the plastic pop-up air deflector that is on the front edge of the sun roof opening when it is open by popping out the springs and unscrewing two torx-head screws.
If you do this the sun roof air noise is virtually eliminated. It is amazingly more quiet (you can see how much more quiet by reaching up and pushing the deflector down while driving). HOWEVER, if you have the sun roof fully open and all windows closed, at 30-35 mph you will get a gnarly resonance buffeting the interior (goes away when you get out of the 30-35 mph range). Resonance is not so bad if you have a rear window cracked.
