I went on Friday to pick up all my parts from the Jeep dealership for my cam change and I got oil and a filter as well. I looked this morning at it and they gave me the Quaker State Q Horse Power 5W-40 for it. I'm kinda shocked. I would figure they would give me the Mobil 0W-40 that it calls for from the factory. Maybe the 5W-40 is better for the Florida heat? I wonder if they used this the whole time I take it up there. Interesting....... I never even THOUGHT to ask what they used. Anyone else run this oil before?

Used the ole' mobile 1 0w40 but would have rather used amsoil.

Hey Wade can you hook me up? I always use amsoil in my motorcycles....seen to many motors opened up at the shop using mobile and do not care for the oiling capabilities. I tried to find it around locally but nobody had it. May need to hit you up for a few cases. :)

Yeah Wade hooked me up when I changed all my fluids over to Amsoil. The tranny fluid is good stuff. Thats all I use in my Honda and Ducati too. I love that stuff.

I thought the 5W40 was for Diesel engines only. I'd try it out. :D
