Those cars are no joke. And they better be for the price tag they're fecthing! All in all though, it's still just another Mustang, but one FAAAAAAST one. I couldn't see myself paying over $100K for a MUSTANG!! At least the Z06 and ZR1's are a little nicer every way around. Sorry you got bit bro..... do some more mods or next time, just run him 0-50 and you'll have a win!

Was this race from a dig or on the highway? Hopefully you weren't on the 101:D

Sorry you got owned....those cars will run 10's no problems.

The red super snake with that flat black stripe does it for me....I don't know why....for a mustang it looks good.

Not a big mustang guy BUT the Shelby SuperSnake is a bad azz car. Anybody watch Bullrun on the speed Channel and see the one in the show(which won)? I wouldn't be embarrassed...it would be fun to run to see how long you can hang in there for ;)

personally i think any of the "aftermarket" mustangs are sweet... like the blackjack or shelbys...

i dont know how much good old shelby does anymore... but for the last 45 years his name as been on some bad ass cars... im sure you all know bout him being on the first viper team... the actually had the CS viper... but for a brief time in the 60's he had a couple corvettes (until one of the corporate GM guys found out about it and snagged them back)... as much as i dislike vettes, imagine what a "shelby corvette" would do :)

Does he have ZMax in it?

BTW, 125K is stupid for a car that can be wasted by a stock ZO6 in any perf measure

^ but its still AN AMAZING CAR! Period, like mustang or not, its very unique, way less on the road than Z06's which like everyone and their brother has around me at least, so the price is so worth it for any real muscle car fan, I'd get it ina sec ;)

At least you got beat by a nice ride. I'd definitely be careful around Studio City. Those cops are looking for something to do in the Valley. I had one pull a fishtail burnout 180 just to catch up to me and pull me over and write me a ticket for no front license plate. I couldn't believe all the ruckuss just for that lol.

/\ /\ /\ /\ sounds like some bored cops....front plates shouldn't be made in any state-and we would be helping out the economy too :D No front plate FTW

"On the street, it's a wild animal. Its power is abundant at all throttle settings; even using the touch of a classically trained ballerina, we found it near-impossible to keep the tires under control. Planting the throttle, err... attempting to plant the throttle in First and Second resulted in deep-fried tires every time we tried. And you'd better be pointed straight when you mash the gas, or you'll be doing the loopty-loop. Still, our egos craved and coddled every last horsepower."

Unless it's on Mickey Thompson E/T's on a drag strip or on the freeway i can take him

No doubt, the Stang driver wud cream once he saw you rip off in front of him, but once he caught some pavement and ripped by you in third, youd def cream to the sound of that badass SuperSnake lol, itd be fair fight, each owner with one fornication (for lack of safer word (dang forum)) per race, him down low and you up top haha, both nasty whips ;)

wasnt a dead stop we were both doing about 25/30 on Laurel canyon right past Ventura. Ya and you are right I live right at Moorepark and Laurel Canyon and the cops here are outta control. put front plate back on just to avoid any issues as well as run front windows down as soon as I see one comming or in rear view mirror. I will say the Laurel entrance to 101s is a great spot to open up if you have a clear shot. Burned many a gallons of gas playing on that one!!

"unless" key word... but still amazing none the less... its really funny how slicks make a 100% different car (when its rwd) :)... kind of takes the AWD factor away from the jeep... and makes the 5000lb factor seem like a 7000lb factor :) haha
