Which years did they come, or could you get them all years either way? Also is 08 the first year with the new interior? thanks...A;

pure black?

maybe my head is in the gutter.. but your thread is a little confusing...

not sure if you are talking about exterior or interior...

technically our rigs do not have BLACK interior in any year... in 08 they just darkened it up... forgot what its really called... in all years there is black for exterior but they changed up the name of the black in 08 i think...black clear coat to brilliant black.... im not sure if you can really tell the difference b/t the 2 blacks...

why do you ask?

08 interiors are 'dark slate'

He's talking about the exterior color change, in 07 they went to brilliant black with the flake in it, 06's do not have the flake.

Brilliant Black started at the end of the 2008 production year along with red calipers(not sure what date, anyone?). You can easily tell the difference as Brilliant Black has a metal flake in it. It's pretty evident so if you're not sure you don't have the Brilliant Black. They both look great and are both equally difficult to keep clean. However, when detailed there is nothing like black. JMO.

As for the interior, '08 was when they darkened it up and changed the "SRT 8" logo on the front seats to "SRT"(along with the mygig radio and a few other minor changes).

Correct. However there were still some brilliant black '08s that didn't receive the red calipers.

No, pure black was available until approximately March 2008 when the Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoats started rolling in on the lots.
