After leaving the gym this evening I'm exiting out of the parking lot and see a black SRT10 truck drive by. I dont see alot of those in town so I catch up to get a better look and realize it has paper plates so it's a new owner. He finally see's me rolling next to him and he gives me a nice big thumbs up and I return one to him as were still driving down the highway we both look at each other, grin and point ahead of us and wait for a clear stretch of road and at this point were going 60mph so he slows it down to 30 so I'm like okay sure why not I kick it down 2 gears to 3rd (mistake) and honk it off, he gets the jump on me (I should of put it in 2nd) but it only takes a quick shift of the jeep and I'm pulling, passing and walking away so we slow down and he wants to go again this time we go at 40 and I let him honk, I bump it down to 3rd and wait for the third honk and hit it down to 2nd and easily jump and pull ahead and notice he backs off pretty quick. We pull over and I found out that HE JUST GOT IT TODAY!! At this piont I feel horrible and could tell he was like WTF just happened and you could tell he was kinda sad about the whole thing so I spend an hour with the guy talking about why he lost and so on to make him feel better and he goes into the story that he now feels like the sales guy lied to him about the power of the truck and so on. I tell you guys I really, really felt bad for doing it and now wish I had not:(

Wade, if the owner of the SRT10 was a girl I would totally understand why you feel that bad, but being a guy enjoy the kill bro! Heck you should have told him to go back to the dealer and trade it for a jeep SRT8 lol :D.

He bought it used but had low miles, very clean. We chatted alot about the differences between the 2 with weight being close I told him his gearing and heavy wheels/tires just dont do well from a roll. Seriously if you guys could of seen the look on the guys face you would feel bad as well, imagine coming home from the dealer with your new jeep after your swelled head finally got in (LOL) and run something you think you should kill and get your azz handed to you wouldn't that take the feeling away you just had.

Don't feel bad for the viper truck dude. A set of pistsons and a $5000 STS turbo kit on it and he's making 1000 horsepower easy. They're much more mod-friendly and tunable than the jeeps are.

Yeah anything can hook with enough money thrown at it. I'd rather have a quad cab viper truck since they are automatic.....TT that beast and throw some huge meats on the back and a big stall converter in it. That would be a fun truck and have room for 4.
