when you guys go to the track what are you doing for launching and such. ie esp off, auto stick, brake hold at 3000rpm and then go?

and im still relatively new to the srt8, just have the predator/afe cai/180 t stat, i will be getting the different rad cap as im experiencing the coolant blow by and going to be changing the fan settings shortly as well.

is there anything you guys would say not to do with the srt or to watch out for, once in a while it sounds like a bit of whining comes from it but thats it.

use the search feature... everyone has their own opinion...

evreyone agrees esp off and auto stick...

i dont know if you can ever brake it to 3000... but i tried like 1500 on the track friday... and it didnt help my times a dime... (personally) its not worth putting all torque on your drivetrain...

i would say in general whatever you do DONT pull any fuses...

i usually turn my esp right back on... just in case

TC button off, autostick 1, no stall.

Pulling the ABS fuse works for me

Launch from idle

Turn on heater immediately after run and keep running as long as car is on to excavate heat from the engine......so turn off as you pull up the the race lights

To clean tires go through water or around if you can.....stall as high as you can to spin all four tires then line it up

anyone ever thought of keeping a bag of dry ice handy to throw on the intake to cool it down between runs to drop the air temp? We used to pack 10" and 12" tunnels rams with ice in between runs.

Pulling the ABS/TC fuse helped me 1 tehth & 2 mph when i was bone stock. My 60' were allways 1.79 - 1.81. After the preditor/cmr tune it stayed the same until i stopped pulling the ABS/TC fuse and started pushing the T/C button and my 60' now are 1.76 - 1.77. My tire pressure is 40 front 36 rear on oem run flats. I allways leave at idle. My downfall is my race wt of 5090 lbs.
