My A/F when the tune was done was at 11.8-12.0 at WOT but now its only at 11.2-11.4, would warmer whether cause this? id like to see the A/F around 12.2-12.4 but im just not sure why, is this normal?

Thanks

Mine has richened up too the past week or so it was at 12.5/12.6 and now it is at 12.2 but it has warmed up and the humidity has increased. Could be a mix of the weather and differing quality of gas now coming out for the summer

theres away im not sure how,but with the predator to richen it up right?it sucks because it feels like the jeep is falling off in the upper RPMs now and i want the jeep running at its best for may 8th (track day)

A MAP adjuster from Turbo City would take care of this, the A/F meter would let you manipulate injector cycles safely to richen or lean. I have a spare on the shelf from my last stroker build, where the hell do I plug it in on this one though....

Yes you can lean it out with the Predator. I would give it a few days and check your WOT and then lean it out if it needs it

I have my A/F gauge and it goes as low as 10.8 at WOT, i will wait just the same but i have no idea what im doing when it comes to the predator and how to do things with it.

Right on, even easier, now I need the right a/f meter.....

DUDE your gonna kill your cats that rich, hell call me and I will help you with it that is way too rich, so rich you need to have your tuner lean it out some as you may use all the leaning points and still not lean it out enough

ewww black tips FTL! get that tune leaned out for sure ;) exhaust fumes sucks, wasted power out to pollute the environment, shoot, lets make 100% efficient motors that make a Ton or power and sounds, then environmentalists have nothing to complain about ;)

Why would the canned tune do the soot so bad?!? I'll get the a/f meter on the way tomorrow, along with a few other things. I've never had a gasser blacken my tips like that, and it doesn't idle very much either, it's usually cruising at highway speeds, or o the floor!

More than likely, the warmer temps are showing up on the IAT, and the ECU is probably pulling timing some. Less timing will result in a richer AFR. Normally, on an unmodified ECU, a warmer IAT temp will pull fuel out. It depends on what settings and what adaptives were modified in the tune as to how it is effected by temperature changes.
