Finally got a chance to run the SRT down the quarter last night. Met up with some friends from Indiana and ran at US 41 in morocco. We ended up pretty much doing 3 hot lapping sessions. I iced the intake between sessions, but temps pretty much hovered around 215ºF all night.

Best run:
Reaction: +.2979
60': 1.8021
1/8 ET: 8.1979
1/8 MPH: 83.84
1000': 10.7232
1/4 ET: 12.8583
1/4 MPH: 105.09

Best 60ft: 1.80, consistiently ran ~1.84 with no stalling.

Not sure how to get corrected times, so if anyone can help me out that would be appreciated.

What were your 1/8 times? Those times are very good. If you tell me what options (nav, dvd, vido,or sun roof ) you have on the jeep from the factory and your body wt and how much gas was in the tank ill tell you your race wt.

Thanks! I was expecting a lot more, but its not bad for the first time at the strip.
Did anyone else with a Jeep SRT 8 run? If they did, what times did they get? No, I was the only Jeep there. It was a huge hit, I had people interrogating me all night about it! The only other SUVs there were TBSS's. One bone stock was running high 14s all night, and one of my friends with a TBSS intake/exhaust, and headlight and grill removal  ended up breaking into the 13's at the end of the night with a 13.9999!

The Jeep is fully loaded, nav, rear dvd, moon roof, everything but block heater. I removed the rear cargo cover, cargo deck lid, and rear weathertech mat. Excess weight included the front and rear weathertech liners, a JL 500/1 amp, and RF 1 Farad cap, plenty of heavy wiring, and my 215lb body plus helmet. Fuel level was exactly at 1/4 as a filled up less than 1 mi away from the track.

I updated my best run in the original post.

NICE times.....my virgin run was last fall at Da Grove-actually my first time at the track ever. I had only a CAI and CMR tune, ann my toyos with only like 50 miles on them ;) (plus a full tank of gas-yeah not thinking correctly :) )-i could only manage a 13.02 @104.79. Want to get back to Da Gove soon-now I have a Magnaflow and some mileage on the tires and will hit the track with a 1/4 tank or less. Hope to hit 12's....

Good job on your times!! I was out this Friday night at Houston Raceway Park and my best was a 13.10 with consistant 1.9xx 60'. There was a TBSS out there running 14's and he was mad as hell that he couldnt get in the 13's. The guy came up to me and asked what I was running and was disappointed of the difference between the All Mighty SRT8's and TBSS's...hahaha I have no idea what his best run of the night was.

Again, way to go on your times, were you brake stalling or reving at the light or mash it on green to get that 1.8 60'?

60' is really a weird time... two weeks ago i was cutting 1.87-1.88's all night... i went on friday and only got 1.89 one time... all others were 1.93 and higher...
the first time was 73 degs this time was 55ish... first time i was running 40psi in the back this time i was running 32ish... i was spinning this time though...

so i guess what im saying is... you gotta play with it yourself... because just tire pressure and temp can be the world :)

LOL the TBSS guys and girl were not too pleased either! EVERYONE in the pits was giving them hell for getting spanked by a Jeep.

Tire pressure was 37-39 in the front and 36-37 in the rear the whole night. Most of the passes I just turned T/C off, dropped it in auto stick, and just had my foot on the gas stalling it maybe to 1200. I was focusing more on dialing in this silly fly by wire than messing around with stalling techniques. However, one time I did stall to about 1800 I ran a 12.94, but the 60 ft was 1.89 so I just went back to the first method.
