 OK most of us here seem pretty open and up front, I need a little help. I own a SRT8 and a H2, I need 2 SUV's like I need to put a hole in my head. So If you could pick between the 2 what would you keep? Or do you sell both and get a Cayenne turbo! Remember if you could pick and price is not the issue what would you do!!! Thanks Lets have some fun with this.:)

If its for mostly on road use.......SRT8 all day long.

That is a no brainer.

Trade both for a Cayenne Turbo S? Which is still slower than the Jeep.

Regardless at that $ point, I wouldn't be considering an SUV.

SRT-8 any day! Then again, perhaps I'm a little biased.

If you encounter A LOT of bad weather, then honestly the H2 would be better. If 90% of your driving is on pavement and you only deal with a few months of nasty snow/slush/etc. then the SRT-8!!!

I'd keep them both.

It will see snow in the winter ! The Cayenne has True 4x4 and the Sports car fun!

The SRT8, it's not a rebodied Tahoe or a girly looking ute. IMO.

I would keep the Jeep SRT8 and ditch the H2 for a Charger SRT8 (or 300 SRT8 if you still want interior room like the H2). This would give you an awesome SUV and car.

Price no object, I would get the Porsche. I don't think I would ever consider a Hummer. At least not the 4 wheeled kind! However, there is something to be said for the JGCSRT8 in the exclusivity and performance departments. Those are the main reasons I bought the JGCSRT8. I just love other non-SRT JGC drivers giving me that look. You know, the "Damn, I wish I had THAT" look. :p

That, and being able to roast just about every SUV on the road. But, I realize there is ALWAYS someone quicker/faster than you out there, just waiting for you to play...

I'd get the porsche. I think it's a great combination of a lot of features and abilities. It's a personal choice though. Personally, the ML is about the only Benz that I can't stand the looks of. Well, that one and the r class SUV. I don't care for either of those. That said though, both of those Benz's are still far more plush than our Jeeps, so it just depends on what you're looking for.

I agree. I have had more people comment on my JGC in just a couple of months than I did over the course of a year when I had an H2.

I would keep the SRT-8, sell the H2 and buy a nice sport car! I love porsche, but the cayenne turbo is just too expensive for an suv. I would rather have a nice 911 turbo in my garage next to my GC SRT-8!

Jeep's fine in the winter, on ice and snow with stock, all-season performance tires. Been there, done that, zero problems. With snow tires, it'd be a real beast, but I don't seem to need them... The braking is surprisingly awesome on ice...

My opinion? Keep the Jeep, dump the tank (H2) and forget about the Porsche. No shame in owning the Porsche, obviously, but that's a lot of cash...

Personally, I'd probably prefer the AMG ML63 over the Porsche... Big fan of the MLs having driven a couple... :)

Money no object - I think its a good idea to test drive the Porsche. But when you are done, and having owned the SRT8 you should still ask yourself, it is all that much more for the money?

I have to agree with the idea to keep the Jeep and buy a nice sports car to match. Forget you even had an H2...

I just got rid of the H2 and am sick about it-I luved that truck. I will buy an 08 when they arrive. More power, better interior, but no tiddies...damn.

The H and the JEEP are 2 completly different animals. Im kinda suprised you would ask a JEEP board which to keep. Did you ask the HUMMER board? Kinda silly, seeing that you asked.

With respect to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, I have always found it difficult to go back to a slower vehicle, even if I recognize that I am trading performance for more creature comforts. But each to his own, its like flavors of ice cream!

well i drive a cayenne S not a turbo and my g/f is gunna get the srt-8 i been on this board for not that long. i have been doing my homework on the truck and honestly its personal preferance i think the cayenne is put together better but then u have to factor in the price of the turbo compared to the srt-8 the srt-8 is no doubt a gorgouse truck and fast as hell. cayenne is fast too and more luxurybut u have to factor the dealer services also,,300 oil changes and 1000 brake jobs. so do ya homework and make ur decision. im sure u'll be happy with whatever u decide :)

The Ml63 is not a option! have a 2005 MBZ not so good, I think the M's look like a soccer Moms SUV. The Neighbor down the street ( Ducks hockey player) has one and it is just OK, the Jeep gets alot more looks. Go to the Golf club and the Valet park the Jeep up front everytime, they park the ML in the back with all the other MBZ's.:p

I drove the Porsche, which was very nice, but I'd worry about the $2000 door scratch repairs everytime I parked it!

I have to say I think the Range Rover supercharged is a better looking car than both the Jeep and the Porsche.

I still wouldn't want to give up the power of the Jeep

I have driven a neighbor's P Cayanne Turbo (not Turbo S). It is heavy and handles like it. Although it has a GREAT interior.

I have also driven the RR Sport. That's a nice ride too, I like it more than the PCT.

I know you said money doesn't matter. If that's the case; buy an RRS and the PCTS. At the end of the day, having driven all of them, you will like the JGCSRT8 most....IMO.

I think money probably does matter to you, otherwise you would have purchased an H1. That, although it sounds crazy, is a fantastic truck. Slow and heavy no doubt but it makes and H2 look and feel like a Kia Sedona.

I have driven the Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, Hummer H2, and the GC SRT8. I have drove each of them quite a bit, and IMO the GC SRT8 takes the cake! The Porsche has the nicest interior of the 3. But, neither the Porsche or Range Rover drive or perform as well as the SRT8. I looked at seriously buying both before I finally chose the SRT8. Yes, the interior isn't fabulous in the SRT8, but either is the RR! The SRT8 still has a pretty nice layout, that is clean and effective. For the price, the Range has an awful interior IMO. Jeep definitely broke the mold when creating the SRT8. I LOVE IT!

Really?

This thing looks a lot better to me than the Cayenne does:

I don't know, I've driven the more laze fair ML500, and I thought it was pretty nice... You can strike it from your list, but it remains on mine, ahead of the H2, Cayenne and RR Sport...

BTW, you shouldn't be letting a Valet drive a GC SRT8... Haven't you ever seen Ferris Beuller's Day Off?! :p

I didnt buy a house that was a great deal and had most all that i wanted because Kong would not fit into the 2 single door openings of the garage...

I have had my Jeep for 10 months now. I still give people whiplash as they see me coming then realise what it is and do the quick double take. It is so funny to see their big eyes as I cruise by. Just a few weeks ago, I was stopped at a light between a big mercedes (s600) and an H2 both rides had custom rims. I was looking around and noticed two guys in a BMW in the front row of the lane on the left. The passenger said something to the driver and pointed at my jeep and gave me a thumbs up as they made their turn. I have never regretted my decision to get the Jeep. I get people complimenting me all the time for my ride.

The Range is a sweet ride.

I agree. The RR Sport S/C is the best looking of all of them - interior is OK, but better than the SRT-8.

I'd sell the H2 and get the RRS S/C. It can handle the off-road terrain almost as good as the H2, and blow by it on the street. It still pretty slow compared to the Jeep and Porsche.

And at that price ($112K - $133k), the Porsche CayTT S is just a retarded buy IMO. It sounds great at WOT, but the exterior looks gay. Interior is as nice as it gets, though. You can get some pretty nice sport sedans for that money and be WAY more exclusive and have WAY WAY more fun - especially if you have the Jeep in the other garage.

I agree with most of the people here. Keep the Jeep. I've owned 2 H2's and now own 2 Jeep SRT8's (wife drives one too). I do love the H2 for it's driving feel but has absolutely zero performance even with a supercharger installed... I would never own the Porsche Cayenne as it is too unattractive. Your Jeep kills the Cayenne in all categories except interior quality. The ML63 would be my only other choice if choosing a high-end performance SUV.
