A friend of mine from LX Forums just sent me a message thinking I was back from Iraq and it was mine (he didnt know mine is Modern Blue, with a 15 May delivery) Last I knew there was 1 Black GCSRT up there, but I was under the impression it belonged to a member here that is deployed right now. Any Ideas? It was parked out side of the Fort Drum Range Control Building, and he said he left a card.

Matt McKenzie has a black GCSRT8, and he just got home (Fort Drum) this weekend. But I was under the impression he was in California visiting his family.

Based on the timing it could have been him.

If it had dark tinted tails, and sounded badass (more than normal) it was probably him...

It was within the last 2-3 days, he said it was parked right outside range control (where my friend works) but he did not get to see who drove it away from there... So is Matt on R&R or done with his tour? Reason I ask is my Iraq tour is done and Ill be back at Drum in 2 weeks

Nope, wasn't mine! Mine is being stored and worked on while I am away. I am in Caly on R&R right now and will be heading back to Afghanistan on the 9th of May. When I left, there were only 3 GCSRT8's in Watertown, mine (Black), CPT Cleveland in 3-71cav (redrock) and one other black one, I don't know who owned it. So, you have one? I will be back in December or January, we should get together when I do get back for sure!!!

I ordered an 09 Modern Blue through the PX back in December. Its in storage in Albany NY at the dealer warehouse waiting for delivery. Im supposed to get back on the 9th (end of tour) and pick it up on the 15th of May. Dec/Jan sounds good man

Glad you are making it to the end of your tour...you will love the Jeep, it is a fantastic vehicle....we should wreck the streets of Watertwon together, LOL! See you on my return!
