WOW! That is a big blower. That is going to put down some big numbers and times if there is any possibility of traction.

Damn Eddie thats huge for a car. My buddies 50' Outerlimits cat has twin 8.3L whipples on it but the motors are like 600ci.

We went with the 8.3L so that we could spin the blower slower.

Eddie if I ever buy another LX/LY I'm coming to see ya.

No way will ANYONE's transmission hold up to a 8L whipple on top of a 440.
Certainly you will find the limits of the Hemi block, i'm thinking in excess of 1500 hp with that setup, assuming you strap a belt-sander cogged pulley to it.

You underestimate the power of the SHR tranny! LOL I'm beating the piss out of mine and even though I'm not making 1500hp (only a few pounds away lol) it's begging for more. :D

With all the big blowers and long tubes coming out of SHR, I'm starting to think someone is over compensating....:D

You plan on intercooling any of these blowers?

Yes, another boring cookie cutter offering from SHR.

The line up with the Maistro, your Hillborn and that Whipple would be a sick photo. And maybe a Jeep, with, uhh.. something...:up_to_something:

Eddie, What happens to the bugs that these thing eat up ? Im mean you cajuns have sum huge freaken bugs, sometimes the size of small birds:D Are the rotors different on these bigger blowers or are they more advanced than the standard Eatons ? I recall reading about the teflon pitting on the eaton rotors, this was on guy who were spraying ? I think these builds you are doing are freakin sick, if anything they def have bling

DAMNNNN that is by far the sickest modern hemi build I have seen yet. This thing should make an honest 1000+whp no doubt. When will it be complete?

This is insane, thank god someone bumped this lol, I dont know what I woulda done if I missed this one. How much for this project, so I guess I'll answer my own question here.

09 Chally = $40k
440 Arrington LB = $10k
Rest of Motor = $8k (random guess, prob about right)
8L Whipple = $8k (not sure???)
SHR Tranny = $5k (not sure here, feel free to answer these)
Kooks LT Headers = $2k
Stop Tech BB Kit = $4k (ballpark?)
Those Rims = $4k (ballpark?)

Total Project = $80k+ (unless there was other stuff not mentioned, which Im sure there was haha) VERY GOOD VALUE imo.

Great looks/brand quality for most part
AMAZING PERFORMANCE IM SURE (1000hp+/insane braking/good handling/aerodynamic other than the bug catcher haha)

*I don't see what else can match this, straight-line nothing will be able to match the quality and performance but there will always be those guys who get $8k Camaro's and drop $50k in it and go 7 seconds, so you know, pointless battle there. GREAT JOB SHR! Gonna be one helluva car, cant wait

Sorry if this is a noob question but what are pedders, was that meant to be headers? Also what are Kooks Stepped Headers, what does the stepped part mean? Thx

Pedders is a suspension company.

Stepped headers are just that... The primary tubes step from 1-7/8" to 2".
