hawkman996 04-21-2009, 12:04 PM WOW! That is a big blower. That is going to put down some big numbers and times if there is any possibility of traction.
hoseclamp 04-21-2009, 12:15 PM I know there's a lot of dudes here right now........... is it wierd to rub one off anyway? LOL!

Blown-WK 04-21-2009, 01:15 PM Damn Eddie thats huge for a car. My buddies 50' Outerlimits cat has twin 8.3L whipples on it but the motors are like 600ci.

SOUTHERNHOTROD 04-21-2009, 01:25 PM We went with the 8.3L so that we could spin the blower slower.
Blown-WK 04-21-2009, 01:27 PM Thats awesome, I guess you are going to cut a massive hole in the hood for this one?:D
SOUTHERNHOTROD 04-21-2009, 01:33 PM Thats awesome, I guess you are going to cut a massive hole in the hood for this one?:D

Dr.Steve 04-21-2009, 05:53 PM so sick, can't wait to hear it rumble, another gem SHR, nice handiwork Eddie :D
navyavi469 04-21-2009, 05:55 PM Eddie if I ever buy another LX/LY I'm coming to see ya.
No way will ANYONE's transmission hold up to a 8L whipple on top of a 440.
Certainly you will find the limits of the Hemi block, i'm thinking in excess of 1500 hp with that setup, assuming you strap a belt-sander cogged pulley to it.
Maistro69 04-21-2009, 07:55 PM Eddie if I ever buy another LX/LY I'm coming to see ya.

You underestimate the power of the SHR tranny! LOL I'm beating the piss out of mine and even though I'm not making 1500hp (only a few pounds away lol) it's begging for more. :D
Vinnysrt8 04-21-2009, 07:59 PM i thought the biggest whipple was a 5 liter.

JerseyBoy@Stage6 04-21-2009, 08:20 PM With all the big blowers and long tubes coming out of SHR, I'm starting to think someone is over compensating....:D
You plan on intercooling any of these blowers?
J
Muellge 04-21-2009, 08:36 PM Yes, another boring cookie cutter offering from SHR.
The line up with the Maistro, your Hillborn and that Whipple would be a sick photo. And maybe a Jeep, with, uhh.. something...:up_to_something:
1BAMFR 04-21-2009, 08:38 PM You cutting a hole in the hood?
Robert0685 04-21-2009, 09:28 PM You cutting a hole in the hood?

BTLFED 04-21-2009, 10:31 PM Eddie, What happens to the bugs that these thing eat up ? Im mean you cajuns have sum huge freaken bugs, sometimes the size of small birds:D Are the rotors different on these bigger blowers or are they more advanced than the standard Eatons ? I recall reading about the teflon pitting on the eaton rotors, this was on guy who were spraying ? I think these builds you are doing are freakin sick, if anything they def have bling
SRTLUVR 04-21-2009, 10:42 PM Holy crap. I don't even know what to say at this point......

Lil0ne 07-23-2009, 03:14 PM hrm, there *was* an orange chally around the block from my house.. but its been gone for a few days.

Depends on where it goes while its gone....;)
Blown-WK 07-24-2009, 11:46 AM DAMNNNN that is by far the sickest modern hemi build I have seen yet. This thing should make an honest 1000+whp no doubt. When will it be complete?
Robert0685 07-24-2009, 04:25 PM heres some with the beautiful Kooks Stepped Headers with Egt Bungs for each cylinder!..also threw in a pic of the huge stop tech brakes!
DevssrT 07-24-2009, 05:38 PM WOW....this is insane!...GL with the install and cant wait to see the numbers its going to throw down!
SoonToBeSRT 07-24-2009, 08:45 PM This is insane, thank god someone bumped this lol, I dont know what I woulda done if I missed this one. How much for this project, so I guess I'll answer my own question here.
09 Chally = $40k
440 Arrington LB = $10k
Rest of Motor = $8k (random guess, prob about right)
8L Whipple = $8k (not sure???)
SHR Tranny = $5k (not sure here, feel free to answer these)
Kooks LT Headers = $2k
Stop Tech BB Kit = $4k (ballpark?)
Those Rims = $4k (ballpark?)
Total Project = $80k+ (unless there was other stuff not mentioned, which Im sure there was haha) VERY GOOD VALUE imo.
Great looks/brand quality for most part
AMAZING PERFORMANCE IM SURE (1000hp+/insane braking/good handling/aerodynamic other than the bug catcher haha)
*I don't see what else can match this, straight-line nothing will be able to match the quality and performance but there will always be those guys who get $8k Camaro's and drop $50k in it and go 7 seconds, so you know, pointless battle there. GREAT JOB SHR! Gonna be one helluva car, cant wait
JohnsonSRT8 07-25-2009, 01:23 AM Looks like a yes! Holy moly....:jawdrop:
Hooked up to the full pedders, this one is starting to come together.
Sorry if this is a noob question but what are pedders, was that meant to be headers? Also what are Kooks Stepped Headers, what does the stepped part mean? Thx
SOUTHERNHOTROD 07-25-2009, 08:19 AM Sorry if this is a noob question but what are pedders, was that meant to be headers? Also what are Kooks Stepped Headers, what does the stepped part mean? Thx
Pedders is a suspension company.
Stepped headers are just that... The primary tubes step from 1-7/8" to 2".
JohnsonSRT8 07-25-2009, 12:49 PM Ahh ic thanks, makes sense:D
T-Time 07-25-2009, 02:11 PM Whats up with the build? Maybe I missed it?
