I have been contemplating a permanent radar detector in my WK. The choices I have come down with are the Escort SR7 and the Beltronics RX75.

I have been using Beltronics for years and I am kind of partial to the brand.

I am tired of permanently mounting windshield radar detectors and would like to move to a permanent vehicle solution.

Anyone have any experience with the above models with detailed installation pics on their SRT8's?

Anyone perform the "professional installation" themselves?

I have the SR7plus in my Jeep. It's the first time I've ever used a radar detector, and I am very pleased with it.

I had mine mounted in the dash.
