: Well it's time...

Hey folks,

I've been a member of this forum for a couple of years and proud owner of a Jeep SRT8 for about the same period. Although I haven't been as active in the recent past I've been a daily "lurker".

In any event yesterday I traded my Jeep in on a new ride. My jeep had been an awesome ride with no major problems to speak of. Anyone still on the fence about buying one shouldn't hesitate as they are truly great and in my experience the model of reliability.

Similarly, I'd like to extend a big THANK YOU to all of the forum members and contributors that have made it such a great place for me to hang out and learn. I will definitely continue to lurk but I probably won't be here as much as I've been in the past.

Thanks all!

Im guessing you traded it on on the new V? Awesome ride that is!

To bad you didn't just keep both. :( Well enjoy!

That new CTS-V is a bad ride so I can see why you pulled the trigger but man-o-man would it be hard to pry my fingers from the jeep. I guess that could change if I drove the V! Congrats on the new ride but sad to see a fellow Jeep lover move on.

Thanks for the kind words all!

It was not an easy decision and I'm not really in a position to say better/worse but clearly different. The Jeep has been a hell of a ride and I'm sure that the V will be as well (it better be because the "Better Half" will nail my A$$ to the wall if I don't keep it for a long while).

The Jeep is still the king of light to light, no question about that but I wouldn't want to chase the V through a canyon though  This thing seems quicker on its feet than my Z06 was...

Edit: I also want to send a big shout out to Tom at MHP who spent a lot of time working with me on an awesome package for my Jeep (in the event that I didn't make the change). He was incredibly professional, spent a lot of time with me, offered a sick deal and was just great to chat with. Tom thanks man! I'm sure we will find a way to do some business real soon!
