So I had to do some yardwork this morning. I put my cell phone and car keys in my pants pocket and proceed to rake laves and mow the lawn. As I am sweeping debris into a dust pan, I hear the SRT8 start up in the garage. Funny, the garage is closed. Funny, I'm not in it. I eventually realized that I must have accidentally hit the remote start twice. So, there will be no more keys in the pocket during yardwork.

That's pretty funny. I'm surprised though. You have to hit the buttons pretty good on these remotes. My blackberry does that. When I'm walking around my "pants" call people sometimes. I'll be walking and hearing "Helllllloooooo, Helllloooooooo"!

No complaints about my 700p so far. I hear there are a lot of problems with the software on the 700w.

the funniest thing was last year when my blackberry click-wheel broke.... it would click all by itself... so the first person in my address book was getting 10 blank emails a day from my phone

All treos are junk- most PDAs too. They pack too much in them. I work for verizon so I have had a ton of experience. Wait a few months there are some pretty sweet PDAs coming out.

Going back to the original post I would say you would have had to lean over and back and over just quick enough to get the 2 presses in to fire up the truck. Good thing it only runs for 10-15 mins because if you didn't hear it you would have done some $50 yard work for your neighbor to cover the gas you would have burned...

I don't know if you've had this problem - not with the remote start but with the button that opens the rear window. On several occassions I gone to the SRT to find the rear window open. I must be accidentally pressing the button but what concerns me is that the remote is working from at least 150 feet away. Also it makes for very cold vehicle:D

Ink, that happened to me once so far.

You know what I keep doing by accident? Opening the rear window glass! That button is WAY too big and easily pushed. I have 3 sets of car keys on the same large ring, and I come out in the morning to find my rear window glass popped open! It's been like that all night too. That's happened twice so far.

Must be nice mowing the grass instead of pushing snow around.I envy you. We are due for a big one tonight and tomorrow.Put my SRT8 away in the garage today and pulled the covers on each head.Painted them a nice red to match my Dubair CAI.Tomorrow I will do the Hemi and 6.1 maybe in black.(the lettering on the covers) Should look good.My garage is in my office building so I get to play when ever I feel like it.
