I was sitting a a stop light and a little old lady nailed me. She said she knew there was a red light and was stopping but looked away and ended up being closer than she thought. When she looked back - Wham! It chewed up the bumper cover and bent the exhaust. The bracing looks all right. She has two holes in her front bumper cover that look like they were made on a die cutter. She felt really bad and I just couldn't be too upset, just a little bummed. No one was hurt and the damage ($800) is easily repaired. What are you going to do?

that sucks man... I fear that scenario every time i take mine out on the roads. I feel for you.

At least it is repairable and no one got hurt.

I just got sick looking at those pics and reading your account of the unfortunate incident, I won't have mine until Aug or Oct and I'm already scared of getting those beautiful pipes bent!

actually if you install a trailer hitch then it would be fine! :)

Well, hats off to you and your temper. I would have been slightly mad, but held it in aswell.

Now you have an excuse to possibly get a new catback. Maybe you can get your insurance to cut you a check and the repairs can be made for parts and your own labor. Should give you enough money to get a nice catback if you really want it.

It could have been worse.....still a bummer.

I can feel your pain, 300 miles on mine and 2 hours cleaning it, and I let my wife go for a ride and she got clipped on the right passenger side rear bumper. All happened at 4 mph. But that is when I took the liberty to have the body shop paint the rear bumper completely eliminating the black. If you have not already had the car painted, look at my post somewhere in this forum "has anyone painted the front and rear" you will see my pics of the front and rear bumper painted. It was worth it.

ha you think thats bad i wish i took pictures when someone backed into me when i was parked, hit me from the side, dented my quarter pannel and leaving my back bumper barely hanging on onto the clamps and screws, it was a mess, plastic parts flying off on the higway an was nearly ripped in half on the way from from it. i just eneded up needing a new back bumper and they popped out the dent in the quarter pannel for me, wasnt to much money to to fix, well not for me anyways lol
