: Borla S installed
RRSRT8 04-08-2009, 06:51 PM I installed my new Borla S system about a week ago. My brother in law gave me a hand. With the help of a couple beers, it only took a couple of hours. It is a good idea to have an extra pair of hands. Makes the job easy. The Borla bolts right into place, great design, these guys did their homework.
The sound is fantastic!! The truck should have sounded this good from the factory. Yes, there is some drone around 40 mph if it's under load, but it's bada$$. I love it. If you are on the fence deciding whether or not to pull the trigger, GO FOR IT. You won't be dissapointed. Quality and fit are first rate and if you have any questions, Borla's service is the best.
Sorry no pics yet. I'm working on it.
CentralTexHemi 04-08-2009, 07:05 PM Congrats the Borla S is nice
TonySRT8 04-08-2009, 07:24 PM Nice, I'm thinking about getting one also. The look of the tips and exhaust note is calling me :)

BOYCHIKS 04-08-2009, 10:10 PM Congrats!!!!
Chick_Slayer 04-08-2009, 10:46 PM I'm on the fence about an exhaust..I added a mopar cai two days ago, and i have never heard anything so amazing when I romp the pedal, plus it doesnt skip a beat now when I gas it already in motion. Before I felt like it took a moment before it would pick up speed if in motion or a deep breath of sorts, not anymore!!
I cant believe what a difference a cai makes.
RRSRT8 04-09-2009, 03:59 AM Chick Slayer, Go for the exhaust, you won't regret it. I have a BWoody CAI and it makes a huge difference in the sound.
RRSRT8 04-09-2009, 04:00 AM Thanks Guys, It'll be awhile before a vid posted. Camera not working right.

ima do it...ima do it!
did u get a drycharger for the bwoody? heard it sits low and water could splash up and eventually get sucked into the motor.
i'm ordering one from outerwear performance, they make a size for the mopar.
RRSRT8 04-10-2009, 08:03 AM Yes, Got a drycharger. I'd strongly recommend it. I'm always careful about driving thru any standing water. Even driving thru heavy rain or slush, it does get the drycharger cover wet. I didn't want take any chances.
Get the drycharger. Cheap insurance.

If you haven't heard the Borla S in person here is a data point for you. I too did the Mopar CAI first and loved the sound. After the Borla S went on you can't even hear the CAI any more. Now that is sweet.
Larry
PROBABLE CAUZ 04-10-2009, 08:37 AM get the exhaust. you wont regret it. you wont even hear the CAI anymore :D
Vinnysrt8 04-10-2009, 09:28 AM just get it i love mine.
SoonToBeSRT 04-10-2009, 09:45 AM SICKKKK!!! I dont even have the SRt and im looking at exhaust haha, definitely between the Borla and Corsa, but I like harry ballz and erics so I may consider the Magnaflow, headers and the Mag or Corsa or better than the Borla imo, anyone else thing the Corsa/MAg sound badass. SO HARDDDD TO DECIDED haha, good luck wit your Borla ;) you wont need it hehe
Raist103 04-10-2009, 10:35 PM i am tring to decide between the borla and magnaflow did you compare the two or go with borla because every one else has it and likes it? i us manaflow on all my other cars and love never have drone or install issues.
RRSRT8 04-11-2009, 03:20 AM I went with Borla after reading reviews, listening to sound clips, Borla reputation and quality.
