I ordered my GC SRT8 on the 30th of November. I was promised a delivery date consisting of 8 weeks. Now they are trying to tell me that the holidays got in the way and I wont see it till April. Does this seem normal?

There are about 5 SRT-8 GC in my area but those dealers have them marked up and will not trade them to my local dealer.

Any ideas on what I can do?

I ordered mine late August 2006 and only received last Thursday. I don't know if this is the "normal" waiting period, but it felt like forever.

I bet everyone knew I would have somethin to say here. Waiting two to three months is not too bad for a factory order on these. But if they are trying to tell you it isnt going to be to april?????? I would look around a little. How much are they charging you for it an what part of the country are you in? I may be able to help.

I am between Spokane and Seattle in Washington state. My local dealer ordered it for 46K and some change. Every other dealer that has one in stock wants 50k or more.

Yup-- I swung through my dealership this morning (Seattle), and they have a steel blue for $56k. The sick thing is that they'll get it, too.

Let me know what color an options you want, I will have one trailered to you inside of two weeks for no more than $45,000 depending on what options you want. At $45,000 it will be FULLY loaded!!! If you want something less it will be cheaper.

I sell them, I have one of the largest allocations in the country. I have either three or four in stock an more coming. I wouldnt go through your dealer for anything if I was you, maybe to stop by there to show off your new ride.............lol. Anyways, call me an we can work out the details.
