: Another Jeep SRT8 FAST AND FURIOUS Screen Shot?
ryangibby 04-02-2009, 11:11 AM Paused this on my Tivo this morning and snapped a quick pic, sorry for the poor quality.
Is it another SRT8? I'm thinking those front fogs are a little high...

ajharman 04-02-2009, 11:13 AM I agree looks a bit high
wssexorz 04-02-2009, 11:42 AM Fogs look high, but would be badass if it is!
Blown-WK 04-02-2009, 12:21 PM Hmm I agree the fogs are like a Laredo/Limited but it looks like SRT wheels on it.
Three Oh Diesel 04-02-2009, 12:36 PM Not necessarily a non-SRT... Look where the plate mounts on the bumper... Those fog lights are below the line in this shot. Take a look at my sig for reference.
And you can't really call it an '08 as there appear to be well-defined flat lines below the headlamps.
I think the severe wide aspect ratio gives the false appearance of a much shorter bumper.
JMO.
ryangibby 04-02-2009, 03:35 PM all true, and why would they put a non-srt in there when they clearly had one available to them earlier. Pretty excited to see the movie non the less
Vinnysrt8 04-02-2009, 04:01 PM That def an srt they have one in the movie i bet.
BlackJeepSRT 04-02-2009, 04:04 PM Looks more like a Magnum than a Jeep. We'd see it much clearly if it were on a Panasonic, Sharp, Sony, Samsung, LG, or Pioneer. :p
navyavi469 04-02-2009, 05:26 PM Its undoutbly a jeep, probably the same black SRT8 from the previous clip. The fogs look high becuase the aspect ratio of the shot has been severely skewed.
BlackJeepSRT 04-02-2009, 05:44 PM Damn Vizio's low aspect ratio. :p
KWICK8 04-02-2009, 05:51 PM Def a jeep ...the hood looks taller next to the blue honda
SoonToBeSRT 04-02-2009, 07:01 PM yea i agree on the srt8 from earlier, A/R ruins the look of the bumper though, makes it look Laredo-ish ewww ;) j/k I love all Jeeps and all years and styles etc etc, Jeep is King of the Road ;)
ryangibby 04-02-2009, 07:14 PM hey quit ripping into my TV haha.
Its a "loaner".
In other words, I buy it from Wal-Mart and then return it for full refund in 3 months and that way I don't need to drive all over the country with my real TV ( 52" Sony ).
Its a popular choice for ECHL hockey players all over the country
Three Oh Diesel 04-02-2009, 08:25 PM Its a popular choice for ECHL hockey players all over the country
Are the Wheeling Nailers in your league?
BlackJeepSRT 04-02-2009, 08:27 PM I thought it was only 30 days. I might have to take advantage of this "loaner" program Wal-Mart offers. :D
BOYCHIKS 04-02-2009, 09:40 PM I've got my tickets :) 12:15 tomorrow and maybe again that night if I can't spot an SRT :p :p
wssexorz 04-03-2009, 07:19 AM I went to midnight showing, wasn't too impressed
also did NOT see any Jeep's at all . . MAYBE one but wasn't the center of attention by all means . . :(
ryangibby 04-03-2009, 11:40 AM Are the Wheeling Nailers in your league?
Ya, they are in our division as well, the Northern Division.
Three Oh Diesel 04-03-2009, 03:50 PM A few months ago, the girlfriend and I saw the Royals play the Nailers. It was a good game.
-Small world. :D
navyavi469 04-04-2009, 12:00 AM The GCSRT8 is in the movie, but its used as a stage prop of vehicles that Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are driving through during the initial street race.
I swear I saw GLIMPSES of it no less than 3 times, but they are extremely short, maybe 1 or 2 thenths of a second with a very shaky camera. You'd have to freezeframe the movie once it comes out on DVD to be sure.
speedking1121 04-04-2009, 01:34 AM Winston is correct, I saw the movie tonight and saw the SRT 3 times, BUT you really have to be looking for it.
BOYCHIKS 04-04-2009, 07:51 PM I saw it tonight, I though I only saw it twice.. One was in the first race.. am I right??
Nobody told me there was an STS-V in the movie!! :p hehe :D
