Hello everyone,

Brand new to the forum. Just came over from the Corvette Forum. Traded in my 06 Vette for a brand new loaded GC SRT-8 (Silver). Fits the family better. Damn, this thing is fast. Didn't think it would hang with the Vette, but its pretty close on the bottom end with a lot more bells and whistles. Paid $45, 250 out the door with tax/lic. Do you guys think that is a decent price. Dealer was asking $52,495 with detail and mark up.

You did fine. Most importantly, you pulled the trigger!

Enjoy your new AWD people moving vette!

Welcome aboard! I received mine three days ago now and I'm loving every minute. Already 400 km's put on it. I just can't stop driving it around. Recently got rid of my fully restored 73 vette, 94 vw vr6 corrado and 04 modified vw 1.8T jetta. No regrets at all. This jeep hauls some serious *@#. Cleaning mine this afternoon so I can debadge the jeep emblems.

Congrates on the new ride! You'll love the dig on this baby. I put this honey at #1 for all launch vehicles! The ride is just sick!

Wait till we get a tune for this beast!!!!

Congrates again and remember, its normal to pull a chubber when driving this JCSRT8 :)

No doubt your right, this was my third. I can see a black Z06 in the future. Nice to know someone else out there is just as obsessed as me:)

Good to see those two finely tuned American muscle cars occupying the same garage space. With two young kids, the Jeep was a great option for speed and practicality under $50K. Couple of Corvette and even a 911 owner in the hood that just love the rare combination the Jeep provides. Once they drive the Jeep, their respect is instant for the power and the fact that you can cruise to grandma's house with the kids watching a DVD is an option they wish they had at times. It's all good.

I have one on order, I have a 50th ann. conv. vette, modified, that I love in the summer...Best of both worlds I hope. Now I just need to take delivery of my new ride and get rid of this winter snow crap. Did the groundhog see his shadow yet?!

I got my 07 on Saturday the 10th. Also traded my Vette, and departed the Corvetteforum. My Vette was an 04 with a Lingenfelter package, so the SRT8 is not quite in the same performance league (yet), but it is an awesome truck! My kids, 9 and 7, love riding in it and the rear seat entertainment keeps them quiet. Fits the family much better, and it is very fast for what it is. I got about $2500 off MSRP, which is pretty o.k. It's great to be here.
