Here's Navteq's link....I believe this version...check against number on yours, is the latest. Don't see Nova Scotia.

Eject the disc and see which version you have. You probably have "05064033AD". The latest disc is "05064033AE" and for 100% certain has map areas for Nova Scotia.

BTW, to access the disc there is a small door you need to remove, see this pic: http://www.wkjeeps.com/nav/nav_6disc_07t.jpg

Trust me, it does, I scrolled through them when another owner had a question a few months ago and I looked again tonight. I can give you a list of provinces that are on the disc later tonight if you want...

If you have nav., your dealer should have the disc.

If your GC came equipped with nav, your dealer should have put the disc in before delivering the vehicle.

Looks like it's available as a bittorrent. perhaps I'll check it out 'for evaluation purpose only'

EDIT:
I Dl'ed the ISO. I'm just a noob when it comes to burning DVD's, so it might take me a few days to get the right blanks.
If anyone is interested in 'evaluating', it's a whopping 8gig; 'DELETED URL' go find it yerself :)

I have an older LG brand DVD+RW, any DVD experts here ? What format should be correct ? I understand there's a couple standards, DVD+RW -RW etc.

One comment on the torrent site was that the dude got a read error when trying to install the DVD in the GPS.

cheers

EDIT2: OK, quick question here. For you guys who received the update, is it one DVD or two ????
If it is one DVD then that would mean those of us who are 'evaluating' the torrent version will need a Double Layer DVD+R with a capacity of 8.5Gigz.

From what I know, you DO need a double layer DVD+R. The "AE" is one disc, not 2.

If you're nav is currently working, you have the disk in the ride. Eject the disc and it will tell you which version.

Just a note per 2008 models, a disc is NOT included with the MyGIG system as the map information is loaded onto the HD.
