I think it looks outstanding! Just plain clean and understated. Very nice choice of wheel.

And no..... it doesn't appear to be factory paint. Jeep does not colormatch the black plastic on the mirrors.

It's not an SRT8. Look closely at the stock, non-Brembo Brake calipers.

One of the dealers by me had a Grand Cherokee in the showroom. It's front was facing me out the window when I was dropping off my Laredo. It had the SRT front, and it looked silver. I was excited since I never saw one in person, so I kinda hopped inside. It was white. It was a limited with only the SRT front end. It some ugly chrome 19's or so (The ones in these photos look nice). It wasn't even a 5.7L. Very disappointing. Not the first time I've seen new GC's with chromed out rims at this dealer either. Not that I have a problem with chromed out rims, buy they manage to stick some rather non-attractive ones on.

I have to go back to the dealer though, they're supposed to have a red and a black SRT in stock now. I think I'll go drool on them.

All and all, even if it is only a 4.7L in that picture, it does look nice. Maybe Jeep should do white SRTs? They'd look purdy.

Good eye, 2Much! I was looking hard for any clue, and only noticed that if the person was adamant about debadging, why leave the JEEP if they removed the SRT?

The shape of the front seats is also a give away, but he tint made that difficult to judge.

Hello as they that good that taste, and modified the painting of the mirrors, it clears emblem of srt8 so that it is seen like lion in skin of obeja. the brebo brakes is opcional in mexico. the cars is my wife. my cars es porche cayenne S and 3 mitsubishi evos VI;VII,VIII. 2 rally cars. VI and VIII.

SRT or not is not an issue to me..... I like what you've done with it. I like the clean lines of the wheels, and the overall understated theme that you have done with it. Very nice indeed.

One more question... since you deleted the chrome on the front valance, do you have plans on also deleting it from the rest of the vehicle? I'm actually been tempted to go that route as well.

also, the back is not srt8...no red reflectors on the back bumper...

I just assumed he smoked the red lenses back there.

Still not an SRT8. No SRT8 suspension components visible from the rear or through the rear wheel. I'm sure if you open the doors, you wouldn't see SRT8 stitched in the seats either.

If the truth is that the sport thing does not take with chromium. change is 0 chromium.
chromium = of luxury
without chromium =sport
SRt8=sport.

I gotta agree with StreetWK here..... this debate has gone on with cars and trucks forever. In recent years, Ford & Harley made their HD accessories and OEM parts far more expensive than look alike parts. I believe they still require a VIN to pick up new HD emblems for the Fords, but that is easy to get around.

Personally, I have no problem with look a likes, one ONE condition..... that the owner doesn't try and con people into believing that the vehicle is a 'real' Lightning, HD, SRT etc. If they put all the factory stuff on, to make it look like an SRT, but tell people it's a Laredo/Limited/Overland, with SRT add-ons, more power to them.

its not hard to walk over to the used section and take the vin off an SRT and give it to the parts guy...like they check...

since this thread was revived...that is no SRT. Its obviously a conversion. I know a laredo when i see one.

no backup camera either

not all srt's have the back up camera and Nav. There are even some without the sunroof I believe. Look carefully at the sideshot....no support arms on the front bumper and the sideskirts are painted reular WK sideskirts.

The Giveaway for me is the Non-Brembo Calipers..

Brembo brakes optional, that's funny! Jeep never made a white jeep srt8. Other clues are the front facia braces missing and the fact that this truck does not have the rearview mirror sensor on the windshield. This is in my opinion a Laredo made out to look like a SRT8. Nice try!

Just by the wife an srt8 and be done with it. And personally I think it looks terrible. It's like the twin that just didn't come out right. It might look almost the same, but you can tell there's something off with it....

I never said that all clones look bad....Scottina's rig is badass!! I just think that white one is off a bit, the rims don't look good and it just doesn't sit right.
