I need help, and there is no place better to get help, then here. I need to know where is the best dealer in NY or NJ, I am willing to travel. I have had one horrible experience after another. All I want is to find a dealer that really has someone that knows how to fix our trucks properly. Not a guy who wants to know how to fix our trucks one day. Customer service and honesty, yeah I know alot to hope for. So please if anyone can recommend a dealer, I will greatly appreciate it.

PM AJ @ hemituner and make an appointment with him. Whatever date he has, just take it. He is worth the wait. Then when you get there they will have you pull into the lot and then go in a tiny little pathway, then when the first person comes to you, you say "I made an appointment with AJ.". Then they will find his service advisor and you go from there.

Town and Country. I got my 300C SRT8 from them and they were pretty decent.

There is also Butler Jeep on Rt. 23s in Butler NJ. They do all of my work even though i bought my jeep in L.I., mostly cause i live in Jersey, but they do good work....as does Westbury

Hello all ! I have not earned my blood wings just yet and do not own a JEEP SRT8 just yet. I’ve been trying to buy one but with my military deployment and the recession I can't find a JEEP SRT 8 in my area (NEW JERSEY). I heard from Westbury jeep also on this forum and lucky they have a black one with over 40000 miles on. I just was a little curious it’s the tune shop to go to but, should I also look into buying from that dealer? I really, really want one and have the tax free money to do so. Just want to play my card right.

I would think if its an SRT8 and its at Westbury Jeep, AJ would have looked at it and with that knowledge alone I say buy it.

Westbury is very mod friendly so if you're going to Town & Country in Levittown, make the side trip to Westbury too.

Merrick Dodge / Jeep (sunrise hwy, Wantagh) is an authorized Hennessey reseller/dealer so if you're looking to go that route, they are your best bet.

STAY AWAY from Smith Haven Dodge Chrysler in LI!!!! They completely RIPPED ME OFF when I bought my Jeep SRT8 from them. It was the WORST experience in buying a car I have ever had.... I also have some experience with the White Plains Chrysler dealership... They also suck! They tried blaming the faulty auto-leveling sensor for the headlamps on the HID fog lamps I installed!! I had to fix the problem myself. It's hard to find an honest dealership nowadays.

As for the deal that you found on vehix... You should be able to get a 2008 SRT8 for that price... Heck, I will sell you my 2008 SRT8 with 25K, with Corsa exhaust and tints for the same price.... :-) I was looking into a 2010 BMW X6...
