07-one month old-500 miles.
Every morning the past few days there is a small spot on the ground of what seems to be oil (brownish/black) directly under front passenger seat. I did a search and could this possibly be the the transmission sensor seal or 2 0-ring seals on the trans valve body?

I had the Tranny O ring issue with 4500 miles. Only took the dealership 2 days to fix as they were out of O rings...

Luckily, I store hurricane shutters under my SRT so it was easy to identify the puddle on the metal shutters.

I would put a piece of poster board to check it to see if it is oil or tranny fluid...

Thats why I am a little confused. The leak seeems to be coming from the front transmission area but the fluid is black and not red. :(

I had the O-ring issue. The fluid would be red. Maybe your oil filter is not tight? I sounds like oil based on your description.

I had the same thing happen, it is hard to see the color because the drops are small and dirty. Wipe it off the floor with a white kleenex, you should be able to see some reddish tint to it then. I bet from where you say it is leaking under the passenger seat that it is the o-ring problem.

Ok, I called the dealer and told them the problem and they said bring it in this afternoon and we will look at it. Five minutes after I arrived there they had it on a lift. Either they are pretty good or it was a slow day.:) Half an hour later they said I have a bad seal where the driveshaft goes into the transfer case. They didn't have the part in stock so they had to order it, other wise it would have been fixed today. Thats pretty good service, thanks Classic Chrysler and Jeep in Raynham, Mass. Service guy Paul was also very nice and helpful. I did a search on leaks here and did not see this problem........something new? I also mentioned to him about the squeaky brakes and told him I realize there is nothing they can really do and he agreed.

I took mine in for a engine check light that turned out to be something with one of the cats but wasn't present. I also mentioned a sound after long or hard driving that sounded like a steel suspension rattle. Turned out to be a transmission leak, the o-rings had to be replaced. So the transmission fluid monitor, if working like mine, could be a sound coming from what may sound like your rear suspension or exhaust with a rusty steel sound to it.
