I'm seriously considering stripping the clear-coat from my wheels and polishing them properly. At that point, I might respray them with clear. I haven't decided on that yet. The factory polish job is garbage, and the clear just keeps you from making it any better (or worse, I suppose).

Yeah I used to use this wheel cleaner on the rims a while back. It says its safe for all wheel types. Cant remeber the name. Wheel see what happens!! lol. Maybe new rims from the dealer?!

Manchester, right on 128?? Didnt know they had an srt tech there. Might have to start going there. Only about 10 minutes from my store.:eek:

We should all set up a meet sometime guys. Get all the srt's together. I'm on a couple other forums, know some people with 300 Srt's and Chargers, and srt4's, all from Mass.

I went to central first they tryed to screw me on my trade they had the new blue 07 color I wasn't crazy about the color but I would have settled for it then went to Bonneville and was treated great and the service is great I have CAI, cat back and they have no problems with warranty issues with the mods

did you also have a problem with your wheels? both driver side wheels are peeling like mad... now when i look close they are starting to show some tiny rust spots..!! im wondering if chysler will take the fault for this or i have to get them fixed myself.. its more principle than money.. its BS to think we have to be responsible for a cosmetic problem on basically a NEW vehicle

The hell with central they SUCK!!!!!! I actually have one of my service tech here at the land rover store do all the maint. on my truck...... I am def in to meet up one of my buddies has an srt4 and there are a couple other gcsrts around here....

Hey dude, are peeling pretty bad more towards the outside of the rim? Mine caused more so on the fronts too :eek:

I have the same danm problem. It is around my center caps and SRT8 logo on the wheels and a little bit in some of the corners. I live in WI and blame it on our wonderful city that insists on coating the roads with more salt than snow. Called the dealer, they needed to get some pix for approval. They said they have done it before on other Dodges, Chryslers, and Jeeps.
