I have seen the pic of the GC that has the trailer ball hitch on it. Was this factory installed? Was there any huge modifications to the rear end? In the picture it looks like the exhaust tips were lowered...?

Don't know if this will help, but here is a link to mine. Got tired of wating on factory, no modifications except welding my pieces on, and no cutting of facia. 10 pin factory wiring harness for hook up to 4 or 7 pin connector is there from factory tucked up under left side of facia. Did not lower the tips.http://www.***********/forums/showthread.php?t=811

teda,
Congratulations on what I consider the perfect solution. Well designed, heavy duty enough for well over the 3,500 lb. rating, and most important extremely low key. Good job.

Looks great but do you think it would be possible to hide the wiring harness behind the fascia??? Just want to keep the look as clean as possible.

Forgot to mention, but think I did in the link, that the location shown in pics is temporary. After those pics, left immediately from Tampa for the Blue Ridge Mts of Ga., and NC to go riding. Some great twisties up there. Sometimes I'll just sit on my porch with a cup of coffee trying to make up my mind whether to take the bike or Jeep to go play on the twisties. They are both equally fun.

Back to connector...I have not made up my mind yet where to put it, but there are a couple of options for a permanent kind of hidden location for mounting. Just need to fab one, or poke around Home Depot or auto store to locate a suitable bracket to hold 7 pin connector. If you use 4 pin it will be even easier. Just grab a cold one, lie down back there, look up and ponder the situation. Good luck.
