I went to install some HID's last night and found out i needed to add a relay and connect a 12v power source. Well today I made a harness with power for four HID's Headlamps and Fogs. Came out nice, But when i turned on the lights one bulb was bad and the other didnt work at all. With further inspection I found that the drivers side had No VOLTAGE??? I could not find a fuse for this anywhere. I ohm tested all the fuse and all seem to be fine.

ANY CLUES?

i don't think there are any fuses on the headlights, it seems there is a computer controlled circuit breaker that monitors the bulbs to see if they are burnt out. It should reset itself if you put the old bulb back in and cycle the ignition. Anyway if you're getting voltage on the other light just use that to trigger the relay that then feeds both HID ballasts. Thats the way I made my relay harness, so you don't need a relay for each light, just one for each pair of lights.

This frustrates me because I use to be a First Class Audio/Video/Alarm installer for 10yrs and i researched everything. My next thing is to pull the battery and have the cpu's reset themselves.
Well i set up an appointment to get it checked out. I will get the trans update also.

We will see what happens. Thanks

by chance is your gc an 06 or 07?

It is an 06.

Yea, i switched out the lights two or three times to recheck myself. I voltage tested it and it was low. like 2v or less. THe only thing i can think of is an inline fuse, bad right side relay, or cpu is in a safe mode for that side.

The kit i was using had harnesses so i am positive i did not short anything out.
This is why I am so confused.

Problem fixed... Control module went bad.
