im gettin a new srt and want to be able to hook up my ipod hard wired, not FM transmitted. Ive been searching the fourm and found numerous part numbers and things. i want it to be viewable through the nav screen. what is the best part to get to enable me to hook up my ipod, thanks

Peripheral Electronics is coming out with a unit as well, part # CHYP

the only problem with it is that right now it doesn't work with the iPod video :( ...but if you have any other iPod then it should work great.

Mopar has a direct wire for the REC radio,can use the streeing wheel controls and show titles and song on the Nav screen. I got one on order from makeitmoparcom the best price on the net . I am so excited

the mopar one sucks!! I am pulling it out tonight and returing it this weekend. It worked twice when I got it. Had it almost 3 weeks. I will wait for others and stick to sat radio.

Where do you get $140 from?

I bought mine at the local Jeep Dealer (Boardwalk Auto Center, CA). I have yet to install it yet because I am at college however I only paid a 125 or something for the part itself. I'm not sure if they charged me for the wrong item or what but its definately the correct part. If you want call them and maybe they could send you one? Hope this helps.

thanks for the input guys, i am going to have the dealer install it for me before i pick it up on friday! cant wait to get my srt8!!!
