Has anyone ever had there Nav take them to the wrong place. Mine has been wrong a couple times. Does anyone know if there are any updates for it and how it is done. Thanks

Only way to update is insert the most up to date disk. Nav units aren't always correct, unfortuanately.

I've found mine to have better routing logic then my Garmin 2620 that I've been using. Too bad the indash unit doesn't have anywhere near the functionality that the Garmin does...

Mine once told me "Continue straight through next intersection" with a big red arrow pointing forward. When I arrived at the intersection, there was a giant field in front of me. My only options were to turn left or right.

I haven't had it take me to the wrong place, but I have had it take me out of the way to get to my destination. Yesterday, it wanted me to continue forwards through a light then make two left hand turns to get to my destination when I could just make a left at the first light to get there.

The Nav is pretty accurate unless the roads changed after the disk was produced. This happened to me once. Otherwise, it's been right for me 99.9% of the time. I'll take those odds.

you know, now that you mention it you're right. I typed in my in-laws address and somehow it led me to a local car meet where I beat a cobra.

I was looking for a Chili's restaurant once on vacation in Phoenix and mine took me to the middle of a housing development, No Chili's!

LOL, If the NAV had that kind of detection I wouldn't be searching for Chili.
