The oil temp tends to run a little on the warm side, but according to DCX its within normal limits. Gsm offers an oil cooler(nice unit) but it is pricey. The only problem I could see is that the oil pressure system was not designed for the extra volume/or pressure needed to properly utilize an external cooler.(Pressure at idle about 20-30 psi, I would prefer 30-45 psi for the external cooler,IMO). IF you do decide to do it, lets us know the outcome.

Installing a 180' thermostat dropped my typical oil temp from 233' to 213'. I can live with that oil temp.

Bill, I guess living northward does has its advantages. In the heat of summer in TEXAS, with the 195 or 180 T-stat(tried both), oil temp gets 250+ at times.

yeah, I want to try one cause, a few min at 150-160 and it jumps up to 290 so I gotta get it lower. I have some 6 lane(3x3) autobahn streches on the way to work each day so it's a normal occurance when it's clear weather.
