The guy I got my jeep from had it wired (he said he had it done professionally..) to plug in the wiring to tow behind a motorhome. The display inside keeps flashing with a rear light bulb problem (bulbs all work) which he said it has been doing since it was wired. I havent looked underneath to trace it, but it almost looks like it may have been run all the way underneath to tap in at the back.

Is there an easy way to tap into wiring or a plug so that this display is not affected? By the way, I still havent towed it yet - still going through everything. Thanks for any help.

Be careful towing her. There have been quite a few people that have had their front fascias jacked up!

What do you mean? I am trying to do it right - I have a brake buddy braking system, is there more I can/should do?

Will the AWD system suffer any problems with being towed?

The light problem can be traced....HOWEVER....you need to give us some more info. Exactly how are you towing it. You definitely can not flat tow it as is with this AWD set up. As the manual says, page 285," recreational towing is not allowed". So if you are planning to flat tow, please tell us what you plan to disconnect in the drive train, i.e. drive shafts or what and how you plan to install a tow bar through or under front fascia.

if you are going to use a tow dolly, you still need to eliminate the spinning of the drive shaft to rear axel. And in most states it's legal to use just the lights on the dolly itself. Fill us in a little more.

If as he said he had it wired, what did he give you, or tell you to use to connect from the standard 7 pin set up on the RV to the Jeep? Also, what do you mean when you say " it looks like it may etc.,etc.? What looks like? A long wire with some kind of connecter on one end or what. I don't understand.

Give us more and maybe we can help/
